Reviews

Below are some critical reviews about Viribus Electric Adjustable Handlebar Aluminum

I dislike the fact that I can only make it 8 miles before it needs 4 hours of charge again

Overall a pretty good ebike. Only wish the frame would fold, seat was more comfortable, and it was lighter. Only giving 3 stars since it arrived with a small crack near the headlight area and no time to return it.

Horrible Purchase from Amazon/Viribus ebike!!!20-25 minutes of riding and the motor completely stopped. The pedals didn't move any longer and the back tire stuck. waiting for Customer Service help. I had to hurt my wrist carrying the bike halfway home until I just had to pay for a Lyft.

Below are some positive reviews about Viribus Electric Adjustable Handlebar Aluminum

I honestly had my concerns with this bike because It’s so much cheaper then most. All I was looking for was something to zip around on in the city and it does just that. Everything is well made and I really underestimated how convenient this little bike is compared to a full size bike. The battery last a long time even with the headlight on. Not to mention I am 220lbs

I bought this bike because it was in my price range. I had a couple others I was looking at, but I really liked that this bike was solid yet still folded. I have been impressed with the bike so far. Yes, the tires were flat when I got it as other reviews have indicated, but there is an issue if you own a bike and are not able to air up the tires. I really like the throttle that is like a scooter or motorcycle. All in all, I am pleased.

I just got one and it's a blast. I put it through the ringer today and learned a few things about it. It goes fast enough to thrill that's for sure. I'm 50 and I felt like a kid on this. It was such a good fun experience today. There are 4 speeds; 0=manual, which is, you are the pedaler with no assist, there is no throttle power enabled at this speed. 1=slight assist to your pedal and there is a slight speed increase with the throttle. You don't even have to pedal if you don't want to. 2=a pretty good assist, you can really get a decent stride going at this speed, the full throttle at this speed is almost too fast to keep pedal with unless you are going up a slope. 3=serious pedal assist, on level, it is too fast to pedal with, on a hill this is perfect, this will get you up a pretty decent slope. Full throttle at this speed and you can't keep up with pedaling.I was really surprised at how good this bike felt and the experience my family and I had riding this around tonight.I then took the bike for a big ride after everyone had a turn around a couple of blocks. I went another 6 miles in mostly full throttle mode to see how far I could get. I know that there was a half mile stretch that had a big slope, and I could see the battery drain a bar just on that. So I think I woulda got further if i was on level the entire time. I think with a full charge and not letting it drain completely dry, I stopped when I saw the red light on the battery blink in throttle mode. There was more range for assist mode but I want the battery to last. So I think realistically, a ~10 mile full throttle range and a ~20 mile assist range is what you can expect. Of course this is my first charge and ride(drain) on the battery, maybe it'll get conditioned and perform better the next ride. I'll post back if there's a significant difference in range. The biggest concern I have with this bike that I cautioned everyone that test rode it was that with smaller tires than everyone is used to on their ten-speeds/21-speeds is that if the sidewalk or train tracks are rough, be real careful, because those small wheels move a lot in comparison; just take it slow on rough patches(no Assist).I am in the process of trying to find an extra battery to have as a spare in my backpack. The seller doesn't have batteries for sale. If one can be had, I would say that it would definitely add positivity to the overall experience. I really won't need any other e-Bike if I can just get a spare battery.Edit: I forgot to mention that I weigh 221 lbs. So, if you're lighter, you'll get more range than I did. I think my weight really exhausts the battery when going uphill. I think there will be a much improved range for someone under 200lbs.I would give this bike 5 stars, but since it's difficult to get a hold of a spare/extra battery I can only give it 4. I will post back in time to offer a reevaluation of how long the battery lasts. The bike is going to my wife and I'm getting a similar e-Bike that supports a little more weight.
