Reviews

Below are some critical reviews about Foldable Electric Removable Battery Folding

Although I do really like this bike, I have a few issues. Do I think the bike is worth the money? For the most part, yes. Here are the issues so you can add them to your assessment.1. On the first ride out, the front tire blew (The company listed here that sold me the bike replaced that tire quickly, and they really seem to care about their clients)2. During assembly the speedometer (mini-tablet dash) bracket broke on the left side. Right side was still good, used a zip tie to hold it in place. (I did not ask for a replacement for that, as it still worked, and I felt bad asking again after I already did for the tire)3. Sometimes, when I am out riding, the accelerator quits working. The power is on, the charge is full or close to full, and it still doesn't accelerate. This has only occurred a couple few times, but I have had the bike for only a couple of weeks. To fix it, I turn off the dash tab, and wait 10 seconds and start it again, and the accelerator works after that. Now that I said the issues, let's talk about the pros of this bike. It's big, sturdy, fast and fun!. The braking is excellent, and the handling is good, although with such big tires it won't be as good as your traditional mountain bike. I am glad that I bought the bike, and because the seller was so responsive to my issue I do not regret my purchase. I hope this review helps someone out there make a decision on their e-bike.

Bike does not do well going up hill even though I pedal my butt off. Buy extra tubes and tube protection. Bike makes all kinds of noise when you ride it. Spokes were loose and removing the back tire is a really pain in the you know what. I tried emailing the company that makes this bike and I have yet to hear back. I would not recommend this bike at this price point.

What is the point of having foldable bike if one person cannot even lift it from the ground?

I really like this bike. I was looking at the wallke x3 pro for the power and folded design and stumbled upon this beauty. Has everything I was looking for and I really dig the OPEAK letters down the side. Goes fast enough to hurt yourself! I was cruising 28mph on a dirt trail and 32-33 on flat road. Also this bike is huge i am 6'2 and weigh 210lbs and there is plenty of room to spare. Bike comes with tool kit and manuel and in about 25 mins after putting the handlebars, front tire and optional front fender on. Love that I don't have to remove the battery to charge. Had to adjust derailleur some to make her shift smoothly through all 8 gears. Front suspension is very nice and rear does the job but is slightly stiff. The display is very impressive with all info and says OPEAK when you power up . Feels like a high quality bike as far as I can tell. Also be sure to tighten everything before riding!(Locktite) I had the bike crank arm come loose on me 10 miles into a ride. Haven't got a chance to really test range . Overall I feel great about my purchase! Hope this helps!*update*Bike has 100 miles on it . I have noticed power drops off quite a bit after 5 miles of riding . Was hoping I would get full power till battery dies but this is not the case with my experience and I'm not sure about other electric bikes as this is my first one. Still happy with the bike and have no regrets.

There were no product reviews for this bike so I felt obligated considering it's a relatively large purchase. The bike looks like presented, it's matte black. The front suspension has everything you'd expect. The rear suspension seems a little weak?, missing a lockout. The derailleur is independently mounted. The fenders are hard plastic.I ordered the bike on Sunday. It shipped Tuesday and got here Saturday.I weigh about 150lbs on a good day.Out of the boxFlatland I was able to reasonably get up to 28mph.Downhill to flat I topped out at 31mph.The acceleration when the battery is high is more than acceptable. If you're trying to make any tight maneuvering (like a driveway) you might want to take the pedal assist OFF.I do believe it has a cadence sensor in it.I haven't tested range yet. I want to make sure the battery is topped off first. But again OOTB I had ridden 10 miles by the time it went to 50%, throttle only. (and my city has A LOT of hills)

I give it 5 stars for fun, but ...Pros: It is a heck of a lot of fun to ride. I have had it up to 38mph in 5th gear with pedal assist. Keep in mind that it is a 60 lbs bike! I have put almost 200 miles on it in the three weeks I have owned it and it can go over a lot of stuff remarkably comfortably. It was pretty easy to put together other than dealing with the weight. It charged up well and consistently. The range is adequate for anything "around town" riding in electric alone (10-12 miles). With pedal assist, 20 miles is pretty easy to achieve and I weigh well over 200lbs.Would have probably given it 5 stars, but there were a couple of big cons that deserved the removal of 1 star.Cons : There is a U shaped metal bracket welded to the frame to protect the derailleur. It seems like a good idea, but mine was bent to the point that it was preventing the bike from shifting into its heavy gears. I had to physically bend it back out in order to use those gears. A real pain to do so because the power cord to the rear hub runs through it as well. Also, the hex wrench bolts loosen up way more than they should. At about 100 miles on the bike, my handle bars started rolling around 10 miles into a ride enough that I had to stop to find wrenches to fix them. At about 175 miles, the rear bracket which attached the rear fender to the frame snapped and the fender slid under my wheel 15 miles into a ride. I had to rip off the rest of the attachments to the fender and toss it in order to finish the last 10 miles of my ride. So, not perfect, but still really fun. Also, if you are planning on any rides over 25-30 miles, be prepared to ride a really heavy bike with no power. Good exercise, but not "really fun".
