Warning... Item arrived broken/defective. The on and off switch wasn’t working. How can a company check each individual battery cell but not be able to flip a switch? I think this company is a scam. The battery also arrived with no charge; the manual indicates that the battery will not work properly if its ever allowed to fully drained, yet it arrived drained with no charge. According to the manual this means the battery is now defective. The switch also needs to be left on in order to charge. This company is a joke.

Charger broke after a few weeks, battery is definitely not like other 52volt bike I’ve ridden. It’s a budget battery and that’s that. There is absolutely 0% customer service.That being said, I ride 20 miles a day on a fat tire bike. Would I buy it again???? Perhaps for somebody else. But not me personally and I’ve owned 2 (the other one was a 48 volt 20 amp)I recently disassembled the charger, and saw a cracked resistor. I’ve ordered the part through Amazon and I am just waiting for its delivery.In the meantime I was able to get another 58.8 volt charger thru Amazon, Under $60 bucks.UPP needs somebody stateside. And they need a branded charger.

I received a dud battery, no light indication on whether its charging. The battery would not charge at all. I followed instructions carefully and to no surprise it wouldn't work once I thought it was "fully charged". The best part of this all is that you can't send it back for a refund!!DO YOUR RESEARCH when buying a Ebike battery please I can't stress this enough. Don't worry about spending the extra cash on a battery because in the end, having the peace of mind of the product working correctly is more valuable in the end.

Been using this battery on my homebuilt converted e-bike with a 1500w motor and 35 amp controller. Packaged well and no sign of rough treatment in transit. Seller even included an anderson to xt60 harness to plug into my controller. The first time I charged it I didn't get too many miles as I was trying to establish top speed (43mph) and max acceleration. After dialing back the power (still able to pull 38 mph when needed), I usually get 80 miles per charge running an average speed of 25 mph that takes it to approx 30% remaining. I do live in a very flat area so no hills and my commute does not have many traffic lights so I don't have to stop that often. Right now I would recommend the battery and the seller and will provide an update if it crashes out before the 1000 charge cycle or 3 years whichever comes first ... if at all.

This battery, when pared with a 1000W 48V rear hub motor, gave me insane range and speed. I was able to average about 26 mph for a full 17 mile ride. Then come back averaging that 26 for another 10 miles before I had to bring down the average to about 18 mph to make it the rest of the way home. This is full throttle for 3/4ths of a 34 mile ride. I wasn't able to test the max possible range going at a moderate speed, but I would bet on 50 mile range at about 16mph. Anyone who wants range and can fit this battery in their frame should get this product.The battery also seems to come with a feature on the charger which stops the charge when it is at max capacity which was very nice to find out after I left it plugged in over night. Coming from a relatively dead battery, it will charge in about 5 hours give or take how much you want to wait for a completely full charge that you will not really need. Another interesting thing is that the weight of the battery is actually less than that of the 1000W motor despite its bulky appearance.LASTLY, for the people who question the use of velcro straps to keep the battery in place, take a look at the pictures. I absolutely smashed into a 4 foot high poll head on at about 15mph one night. This caused me to fly over the handle bars some 8 feet like I was superman but, after looking over the bike to see the damage, the battery didn't even move and the straps weren't even loose either. The only thing that was damaged was the front wheel being turned into a hard taco shell and the rear wheel having some mystery bend casuing them to both be unrepairable. Leaving me bike with an amazing battery, but no wheels to continue riding:(So what are my final thoughts on the battery? If you can fit it, send it!

So far loving this battery. For the price you can't beat it. I ran the battery all the way down to see what kind of mileage I can get out of it. On its maiden voyage I got 54 miles out of it with a combination of pedal-assist and throttle some hills some flats. I bought the 48v 20ah pack. I didn't get the 52v because I wasn't sure if my 18 amp controller could handle it. The only thing that concerns me is the charger. It gets pretty hot, so I only charge it for about 4, 4.5 hour at a time. Then I'll let it cool off for a little bit before I finished charging. Also the charger has a funny smell when it gets hot. The charger is a 2.5 amp charger, not the 4 amp charger that is stated. If the battery is completely dead it takes about 9.5 hours to complete charge.
