Below are some critical reviews about EBIKELING 24V 36V Waterproof 750CI have found, via trial and error, and working with ebikeling customer service. that all controllers and displays they sell are set to PAS (pedal assist) until you reach a speed of 18 mph. You can set them to zero start and they will provide power from a dead stop, BUT that power will be in SPURTS and this cannot be programmed out of the unit in any way. I tried every possible setting. I contacted their tech support team and I told them I want to use throttle only, no pedaling (and the PAS sensor cable was not used) but they were never able to give me the correct settings for throttle only, which means, that the unit expects you to be pedaling no matter how you set it, and will therefore give power in spurts and jerks until the speed of 18 mph, after which it finally smoothes out and just allows you ride at a constant wattage based on throttle position, which is how it should be from a dead stop.ALSO, with the TFT 750 C display, it will actually go into cruise control all on it's own if you start out at zero and apply full throttle until the speed of 18, despite the spurts, at which time you have to release the throttle, then re apply to cancel out the speed control.If you are going to pedal the unit, you may be perfectly happy with an ebikeling setup, but for me, since I want to use throttle only and the settings can't be fine tuned, I am returning this for a Bafang that CAN be programmed with a TFT 750 C display to do whatever I want it to do. Too bad the programming cable does not work with any other TFT 750 C besides Bafang, at least they say it won't (but I didn't try it). The ebikeling TFT 750 C display is also a 5 pin green cable same as Bafang, but no telling if it can be programmed or not. I would rather go with what is known to work by others than waste my time experimenting.The other thing you need to know if that, at startup, your display will begin at either 0 or 1 PAS setting each time and you cannot change this. So, each time you ride, you must change your PAS setting manually to any number above 1 if you wish to have throttle power.My first set from ebikeling did not have this issue but they told me it was defective because it had an E11 error that could never be resolved no matter what. I tried new cables and it was not until I changed both the controller and the S 830 display that I got rid of the E11 error I was getting.Also, the odometer miles do not save, but starts at zero unless you leave the power connected when not in use, which I will never do for obvious reasons. I have a key to activate and connect the batteries so my odometer was always a zero each time.I previously built an AW set and never had ANY of the problems I had with ebikeling. My next one will be a Bafang mid drive. In the end, I was told by ebikeling customer service to please return my items for a refund and to please never buy any ebikeling product again. So now they have their first BBB complaint, and, of course, they will never acknowledge or answer it.

I bought this to enhance the eBikeling 1500W motor kit I also bought here. It replaced the LCD display that came with that kit. The LCD works ok, I just find this TFT easier to read and comprehend while pedaling. The TFT display is very well-designed and intuitive to use. It's easy to read in bright sun, and the indicators can be read at a quick glance if you're busy focusing on the road. The battery meter is pretty accurate, just understand the inherent limits of forecasting a battery's state of charge when it's under a huge variation of current loading, from moment to moment. Like with any such meter, it has to be taken as a "rolling average" (no pun intended), from time to time, while riding. Coast a lot, and it gets too optimistic about remaining power; accelerate hard with a thumb throttle, and it will show an overly pessimistic value for a while. One note, I had some trouble getting the settings right (at first, the PAS mode didn't work at all). eBikeling tech support came thru splendidly though, with this feedback:"Start PWM = Does not have any effect on the system.Key Antijam = Does not have any effect on the system.Assist Poles = The number of magnets on the Pedal-Assist-Sensor. In our systems, it is twelve (12).Start After Poles = Number of pedals before it starts to activate PAS."Overall I'm very happy with this unit, and actually with my whole eBikeling system. I like that both the hub motor, and this TFT display, have the eBikeling logo - gives it some distinctive class. Thanks!
works well easily customizable my only wish would be for it to have a usb port like so many other displays do. it would just be very handy for phone charging power while mounted on handlebars.
It's a great display . I put 300 miles on it so far easy to program .I recommend this product pedal-assist very sensitive and works great. It's plug-and-play but you have to program it . watch some YouTube videos. Go to ebikeling tft display manual .
