Reviews
Below are some critical reviews about Kent International Comfort Bicycles Suspension ComfortI haven’t taken it out for a spin yet so I can’t speak to the mechanics of the bike. However, I will say that assembly was rather easy as long as you have the necessary tools. I rated this bike as three due to receiving a damaged tube. It seems that perhaps during the packaging process one of the tire/tubing valves was forced into an unnatural position causing it to tear so now when it’s pumped with air it leaks out. For the cost of the bike I would expect all parts to be working and in good shape. That aside, it looks like a good, durable bike. I’ll update this once I’ve taken it out for a ride.
I bought this online as all the local bike shops were out of used and new bikes to purchase. I just received the bike on July 8, 2020. Upon unboxing, I notice a spoke was bent from it being shipped with the steering wheel neck wedged into it. In addition the left brake adjusting screw was bent and the gear shift mechanism on the rear wheel was bent badly. A lot of adjusting needs to be made, from brakes, steering column (too tight), and gears, as it would over shift past first gear causing the chain to come off, and not shift into seventh gear. I would not buy any bike online again and now regret getting this one. I haven't event tried to ride it yet.
The welding was good! I’m not sure if I would order a bike online again. The shipping box was damaged in many places and one such hole (like something was dropped on it) bent the the piece photographed so much that it was in the spikes. Luckily my builder was able to bent it to the correct position. Not sure how easy it was to build as I didn’t put it together. A reflective piece on the front wheel also broke in the shipping process.
