Below are some critical reviews about Pacific Sport Mountain Bike BlueVery disappointed in this bike. I bought a Schwinn kids bike, which I found was owned by Pacific, and it was much easier to assemble and had a video. If you do buy this bike, maybe go check out that video. This bike comes about 75% assembled, which is cool...if that 75% is done right. The handles bars were mounted wrong and factory tightened. The manual said to use a 6mm Allen wrench if this needs adjustment. unfortunately, I didn't have one and couldn't get anything else to work in it's place. [No tools come with this bike, so be prepared.] I got the bike put together, it still needed some final adjustments, but without being able to get the hand brakes/handlebars in the right position [because of one damn screw] I decide to leave things just turned tight and take it to a shop. You should have seen the look they gave this bike when I rolled up. They were nice and they'll go through it for me, but I'll have to pay $75. This bike is no longer a bargain. For what I paid, I could have gotten a really nice used bike that was ready to ride.
This did fall within my price range so,.. While assembling I notice a few items of note. The seat stem and handlebar are of a smaller size, replacements might be harder to find. Handgrips are of a smaller size.Front derailer was installed so low (no factory set up) that no rotation or engaging other sprockets where possible until aligned where the final QA inspection should of found andcorrected. You do get this in a raw condition.
My daughter just used like 3 to 4 times since we bought (less than 2 months), handle got loosen and not able to use it anymore . Tried to tighten it and after a mile it’s again getting loose…now it is use less with in two months. It’s waste of money. I strongly recommend not to buy this.

Had this together in probably 30 min. Everything works well no issues. Had to make some brake adjustments but that was pretty easy and tbh it’s a nice bike for the money. The seat is a typical seat will be replacing with a more comfortable seat for the wife all in all I’m impressed the welds even look good shocker!
My husband put the bike together. He said it wasn't hard but it took awhile. He was able to get everything adjusted just right for my Granddaughter. She LOVED the bike! She's 10 years old. She loved the color and it was the first time that she used hand brakes but she got used to them without any problems. I think it was a great price and fit for her needs.
We purchased this wonderful bike for our grandson, and he LOVES it!! Perfect birthday gift!!
