Below are some critical reviews about Gotrax Flex Electric Scooter Pneumatic Tires 15 5Mph Speed Power 350W Motor Comfortable Double Rear Suspension Foldable Electric Commuter ScooterIt's easy to drive, very smooth and great for elderly.Its cushion is big and soft, and it is very comfortable to sit on, but the quality is terrible, and it has been a little cracked after using it for more than a month.Its braking system is sensitive and very safe. So far no issues other than some slight cracks in the cushion.
I have a lot of experience with ebikes/scooters/dirt bikes/quads, etc. I have a few that I could compare this to, most comparable would be my Okai. First, packaging is well done, assembly takes less than ten minutes with the included 6mm hex wrench. Props to gotrax for easy unboxing and fast assembly. Tires were already inflated to proper PSI. Next, the suspension basically non existent. Yes they advertise double suspension in rear plus a seat with some suspension, but it basically has no travel. A meatier tire would provide more suspension than what those shocks do. Additionally, unlike the Okai that has an app associated with plenty of info, this one just has a key to turn it on and a five LED bar to indicate state of charge. It only has a ~7.8ah battery, so it can't actually go the full advertised range unless you're going 5mph. It does reach it's top speed rating however, and gets there in a safe and comfortable rate of acceleration. Brakes feel plenty strong although obviously disc brakes would be better and also easier to upgrade to hydraulics which would be the safest. Overall, for this price point you can find better options out there.
If you are a researcher and try not to overpay things, you will notice that this is possibly rebranded model with a higher price tag of another known brand of electric scooter.Besides the pricing, balance isn't the best especially going 13mph, even a little movement could take you out of the straight line with ease. This is due to not enough wide enough wheels, body being close to ground short overall height and handle bar distance from the sear and the ground.Top speed 15mph or little over if you are going down hill. 6ft 200lbs on flat road you aren't gonna hit 15mph with this, 13mph was my max after trying many times with GPS and laser speed measuring.Battery hold well depending on how crazy you drive and differs if you are riding on concrete or asphalt, as well as the road type if hilly or all flat.Controller are basic and easy, battery replacement isn't mentioned enough in the manual, whells with inner tube and basket in the back is a nice touch.Overall it is crazy to pay this much this scooter, as you can find same thing same specs same shape and setup almost half the price.Or you could pay a little more and get a full size electric bicycle, which you have more balance and much secure on even much higher speeds.Use helmet, shinguards and knee pads for all times, just in case 👍

We have had this electric scooter for awhile, I initially wondered if it would lose the excitement of newness, but it certainly has not! If anything it has proven to be useful and convenient for daily use. It was initially a present for our teen, but my husband and I have also enjoyed it. Although it was a gift, I think the whole family will be getting some good use out of this!The size of this scooter is appropriate for adults. It has a 14 inch wheel size and a handlebar that is located at a comfortable level. It certainly is a suitable size for us all. It is extremely durable and sturdy, it can withstand my husband's weight, near 210 pounds with no problem, even on hills. I was amazed at the get up and go this scooter has. I was very happy with the power of this scooter, it has a 400 watt motor, quite too! The handles are easy to grip and comfortable. The electric power will allow you to go a little over 15 miles per hour. I think this scooter is great for a leisure stroll or if you are commuting a further distance to work even then 15 MPH will get there in a very timely manner. It’s nice that I am able to keep an eye on the battery power via the led display. The headlight and taillight is bright which gives me a sense of security as it will be seen from a far distance. There are so many great features on this e-scooter. The seat is wide and incredibly comfortable. The basket is great for commutes to the store or for running errands or for books while traveling to and from school.
I've been really excited using this and my partner has been even MORE excited! He already has an electric scooter, but has been pushing me to get one too so that we can ride together. Finally, I bit the bullet and got this one. I like the seat and the little basket it comes with. Perfect for one grocery bag filled. I live about 1 mile away from two grocery stores and then 3 miles away from a different grocery store I like. So far, I've been able to ride out and around and back on a full charge. I had my partner do a test ride to see its max capacity and he went about 13 miles and still had a bar or two left. I was hesitant to know if the battery actually rides a full 15 miles as claims, but surprisingly it pulls its weight!I really like the seat and the larger wheels on the scooter makes it less bouncy. It's also less sensitive compared to the scooter he has, which looks more typically thin and seatless. My partner came over to my house to put it together for me and I thought it would take awhile, but after just 15 minutes or so, the scooter was ready to ride. I was shocked at how little he had to do to put it together. He mainly had to screw on the seat and make some adjustments to his liking.Because my partner's scooter doesn't have a seat, he loves stealing mine to ride back to his house about 6 miles away. He showed it off to his dad and his 70 year old dad even took a spin on it.
I have had my scooter for almost a month and I am glad that I made the investment, I am in my 50’s and I never imaged that I would be driving a scooter for transportation, I live approximately 4 minutes from my job driving in a car and the scooter gets me there between 8 and 10 minutes depending on traffic. Some of the roads I drive on are not conducive to this means of transportation so at times I have to drive on the grass to avoid oncoming traffic. Wow, I was surprised at how easy it glides on grass due to the shock absorption and the seat provides enough cushion that I barely feel the lumps and bumps of driving on the grass. It is easy to assemble and comes partially charged. The charger is not removable so you must bring the scooter indoors to charge but because the battery is permanently located under the foot stand it keeps it protected from rain. I have had to ride it in a drizzle but I would not recommend ridding it in a down pour. The only con is that I have yo carry it up stairs and it is kinda heavy but I manage. With that being said if you are looking for a reliable scooter for easily doing errands and getting back and forth to work, I highly recommend Gotrax Electrical Scooter
