Below are some critical reviews about Vont Flashlight Flashlights Water Resistant Accessories

One light was used, had scratches on lense and case it came in was dirty, definitely used, likely a return. Both lights were not very bright with fresh, quality (3) AAA batteries. My $3 cheap Harbor Freight light is brighter. The worst thing about these flashlights is the telescoping feature to extend the beam further out and in, when pushed all the in, you can see the outline of the LED chip/board, it looks terrible and flashlight is useless, see attached pic. If you can afford it, buy a streamlight or surfire, I have them and they are high quality, insanely bright, law enforcement uses them, I have the smaller tactical versions for my rifles (guns). Just needed something for around the house, but these Vont flashlights are worhtless. I will, however, say that Vont makes and sells the indoor square night lights that plug in, those are nice, bright and the day/night sensor is on point, I bought 12 of them.

UPDATE BELOW...Initially I was thinking these were pretty good... but as I use them I am finding some disappointing behavior. Mostly that the on/off toggle at the base of the flashlight is wonky. Sometimes it works... other times not. I end up shaking it. Then it comes on. This has been the case on both flashlights. Now, my original post was rejected because I mentioned some broken plastic tubing in the packaging... I wonder if that has anything to do with the glitchy issues I am having. Cannot say, but it is suspect. In my original review I included a pic of the broken pieces, but I will skip those this time. They are black metal. You pull the neck out to tighten or widen the beam. I am a bit disappointed in the overall quality - ie: the toggle failure - shake to get to turn on. I was purchasing these to replace old ones that did the same! The batteries (NOT included) go in the bottom, twist tight to function. The lens piece was very loose on both - it twists off - so I tightened those too. There is a wrist band attached - I don't use those. I have found that if you press and hold a second or two, it works more reliably. If you're in a hurry and do a quick tap of the toggle - about 50/50. So don't be in a hurry. The toggle button is orange, but not neon. With the batteries in, they are fairly weighty. Fit in a pocket. Not sure how much more "focused" on the product I can get and additionally honestly reveal my experience. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.UPDATE 10/26/21.... tossed in the bin. Doesn't work at all any more. Super disappointing. I would steer clear as both turned out to be junk.

** I had to return my first order of these lights because only one of the two worked. The replacement set both worked. **These flashlights take 3 AAA batteries. The battery holder feels a bit flimsy but once it was filled with the batteries it felt a bit more sturdy and didn't seem to rattle around inside. The lights are a nice compact size so they are perfect for the glove box in the cars and the rugged case they come in will keep them protected from getting scratched up and rolling around.Since there are no instructions in the box I had to read through all the reviews to figure out how to get all the various features to work and to explain that the plastic tube inside is or rechargeable batteries if you want to use those. I marked it down due to not having instructions. The features include: floodlight, spotlight - achieved by sliding the front of the light forward and backStrobe light, SOS and three light strengths - all of which are achieved by different numbers of clicks on the power button.I would like to have some flashlights for household use, but I am on the fence about getting more of these due to only one working and having to return and replace.

Below are some positive reviews about Vont Flashlight Flashlights Water Resistant Accessories

I got my new Vont Blaze flashlight two pack and took several pictures while unboxing and testing it out. They look to be very well built and thought out lights. The flashlight has a good weight and feels durable and solid. The only thing that does not feel solid is the battery holder. The case is a nice touch and I like that it can be attached to your belt.To operate the flashlight click the orange button on the back of the flashlight and it turns on at full brightness. Click it again and it turns off. Click it a third time and it comes on at less intensity (50%). Two more clicks and you are at 30%. Two more clicks and the flashlight strobes. Two more clicks to get the flashlight to emit an S.O.S. in Morse Code light pulses. To get back to full intensity click the flashlight two more times. You could also click the light off and count to 10 then click the button again and you are at full brightness. I was told (and have since tried) that if you slightly press the button, the flashlight will change to the next mode without the need for the double click. A full click is needed to turn the light off.The zoom feature is different than I am used to from my experience with Maglite flashlights. On this light you extend the front of the flashlight to go from the wide spot to the narrow focused beam. On this light, the focused beam results in a square projection of light. This is a nice way to quickly change how tight the beam of light is.Overall I am quite pleased with the flashlights, and I am excited to use them the next time I am working in the theater or on my next camping trip. Another thought, don’t throw away the plastic tubes that are on the box. Those are used for a18650 rechargeable Lithion battery that you can purchase and use in the flashlight. It would be nice if there was an insert that mentions this and any other features that are not obvious. Thanks Vont for another well made flashlight.

This product is as advertised. Materials seem quality. Light is more than bright enough for the average person's use. Sturdy, with a bit of weight, but not excessive for its size. Includes options some cheaper flashlights don't have such as: options to change the size of beam (spread or narrow focus), change the intensity (3 levels), offers a SOS signal and rapid pulsing flash in the case of an emergency. A minimal learning curve. (You're welcome boomers, I'm 69.) Got it (how the control button works) within 5 minutes of study. I like the two package because you've got a spare, which is just prudent and often times you need flashlights for different purpose in different places. A car is one or in your garage. We use ours most frequently for night time dog walks. (Yep, we pick up our dogs mess.) As to a few criticisms I read in other reviews: The light doesn't look "blue" to me. The quality of the battery holder is sufficient, as it doesn't look like it'll break easily, under normal circumstances. (Doesn't come with the 3 AAA's you'll need.) The only puzzle was the cylindrical thin plastic pieces, open on both ends, slightly smaller in diameter than the interior opening that were included in the box with no explanation. A quick YouTube search revealed that, with that piece inserted into the empty interior, you can then place into it one larger battery size that I'm not familiar with, eliminating the need for the 3 AAAs. The only problem is that the single battery must be recharged and that single larger battery doesn't come with the flashlight either, (or a charger.) So that's an option. I opt to use the easiest setup with AAAs. Most people, unless your job requires it, don't use flashlights often enough to make the other battery/charger (not included) necessary. For the average person the AAA's are more than sufficient. You can register the light online for a warranty should you have problems with yours and of course Amazon will take returns within a reasonable amount of time. No regrets. Good choice for me. Can't speak to the batter life yet (which would vary with use.) I don't plan on dropping it in water (and haven't accidentally) so I've no clue as to water resistance. Owned it for only two or three weeks. I suppose it's possible it'll breakdown after I share this review. If it does, I'll be back to change this. Good day to you!

We've all purchased the $5 flashlight from your local supermarket, almost always a disappointment, they're never as bright, often cheap and prone to failure. Enter a proper flashlight from Vont, this is not your supermarket budget flashlight.Things I like1) Quality feel to it, that cold heavy feel of a well made metal torch. The zoom is nice and firm, it doesn't slide on its own, stays fixed on whatever setting you choose.2) Battery compartment has a container for the batteries, which has an arrow, so you know the direction to put it back into the flashlight. Not that this is an issue since the battery holder has an obvious front and back.3) Belt pocket, when you're out and about it's nice to have the case on your belt, this one has a loop so it can't fall off, at the cost of it being slightly harder to attach. I like it though, nice strong velcro flap too, so you're not likely to lose the flashlight, no matter what you're doing.4) It's bright, easily the best flashlight I own, in fact so bright, I don't really need the zoom feature at all, using it mostly on the maximum spread to illuminate everywhere.5) There's 2 in a pack, if like me, you've got a scout in the family, you're not going to keep the flashlight for long, as all scouts have one in their 10 essentials, and they'll like this, having 2 means there's one for me and one for my boy.DownsidesNot really any I can see, if anything it would be nice for it to use 4x AAA batteries, since almost all chargers work on pairs, and typically purchased in multiples of 4, but that's a really minor quible.I don't know how long the batteries last, since my first set are still going strong, but I will report back if anything other than a good life is experienced. All in all another happy customer.
