The first one I bought had a faulty battery and stopped working after a week of using it. I went to charge the second one this morning and the charging port looks like it melted/caught fire where the egg would connect to charge. It smells like burnt plastic. I keep it next to the bed - never move it. No idea why or when it happened. But not ideal when it’s purpose is to illuminate the room so I can feed my baby….. yikes.
I have bought 4-5 of these and loved them, gave them as baby gifts. Then the one on my side of the bed started going on randomly in the middle of the night and waking me up. Completely unpredictable. One good night, then three times in about 10 minutes. I had to turn the “nightlight” off with the power switch or throw it under the bed. Rather than go through return, I bought another one. Does the same thing. Out $50. I have not checked with the people I gifted.

I love this nightlight. I love how easy it easy to tap on and off and adjust the brightness. It’s also great that you are able to adjust between a blue light and warm light (we prefer the warm!). I also love that it’s portable so I can charge it in one spot and bring it anywhere I need. However, I gave the nightlight four stars due to the blinking blue light on the front of the night light. When charging, the blue light is static. When off of the base charger, it is blinking. This drives me insane! It is such a bright light that I had to cover it with electrical tape so it didn’t light up the wall in our room. PLEASE consider removing this from the night light.
So far I love this little lamp; it is just what I wanted for my nursery. Portable, small, easy to turn on with simple two-tap touch, and dimmable for night time diaper changes. Light can be changed between warm or cool tone, and brightness adjusts up/down. Easy on the eyes, doesn't cause glare. Nice little shape, and I like that it has a base charger to set it upon rather than having to plug it in directly. What I didn't know is that it comes with a mini carabiner and the bottom non-slip piece pulls out so it can be hung upside down if you want. It also came with a variety of amusing little facial expression stickers, which was a fun surprise.Things to know: There is a teeny tiny blue light on the front of the unit that pulses on and off slowly when it is in standby mode, and its purpose is to help you find the unit in the dark. Luckily, it is not bright or particularly annoying/distracting, at least in my opinion.
Pictured are my two night lights. The one with the face is my new one, the one without I have had for well over a year. These night lights are a blessing!!I needed to get a second one for transitioning my son to his big boy room at night and he LOVES the egg. It stays on all night and can be used when one the charging dock. We leave ours on the charging dock mainly. It is portable and can be dimmed as well as changing the kind of light from a soft yellow to a fluorescent color. It will light up your whole room on the brightest setting. It is resilient; my son has bounced it off the floor a few times because he is still little and clumsy. He has known how to turn this light on and off since about a year old too! So easy to use!Also, the outside lamp piece is plastic so it is durable and it doesn't ever get hot to the touch!The only thing you will need is a walk socket connector to plug the USB into. I'm thinking they don't include this because they ship everywhere and different countries have different outlets.100% recommend. I will buy this model as long as they still sell it 😊
