Below are some critical reviews about Electric Mountain Bicycle Removable WaterproofProduct came to my home in a pretty banged up cardboard box. While assembling the bike, I noticed loose spokes on the wheel, scratches here and there. In order to tighten/install the mud flaps, I had to use my own wrench (10 mil), perhaps the original could have been lost as some items were loose in the packaging box which had several holes in it. After installing the wheels I noticed that they are wobbling. The battery and controller were installed quite a bit crooked. Visibly crooked. I charged the battery and went for a ride. It did reach 29 MPH, however, the noise that motor was making was not encouraging. While pedaling, the chain was laud too. Yes, I was going to adjust that later, but never the less... After about 15 minutes of riding, the bike lost power. It was OK after reset; not very convincing first ride. Bike looks good, so perhaps I just got a lemon, thus two stars. Bike that was delivered to me was poorly made, even for a product that was Made in China.

The bike was 95% built, it did not take long to assemble the handle bars, light, front wheel, and wheel covers. Make sure every thing is secure lost the rear wheel cover just the plastic part) because I forgot to tighten it onto its holder. The bike has been great. I use it to commute to and from work. Which is 20 miles between jobs and 20 miles back home. I have 2 road bikes that I used to do the commute. After 2 years that became very tiring. I was looking at other e-bikes and after a few days and was about to buy another bike this one came up and I was am happy it did. Great price, it performs excellent as described above except the 28mph on flat surface of the road I got 31.6 mph (correction on this top speed I hit was 32.2 mph on the speedometer on a fully charged battery until one unit of the 6 power units on the battery was drain then the speed decreased to about 31.5 mph ). There's not many hills in South Florida but the ones there are this went over without a problem. Only problem I had was today I caught a flat tire. It took some time to initially get the rear wheel off due to the frame holding that tire on really strong. You'll need a 18mm wrench to removes the nuts for the rear wheel. Fixed the flat and was on my way again.
I just got the bike today. No user manual was included with the product. I'm new to electric bikes. The battery is fully charged, but doesn't stay on. Is this normal? I don't know, there isn't a manual. The online manual is just a how to assemble and basic troubleshoot. It doesn't match the components of my bike. I couldn't turn the bike. I was in the process of returning this product as defective, when my neighbor showed up. He said, I have an electric bike, did you try turning it on via the odometer. I said I pushed every button but got nothing. He said on mine you have to hold down the odometer button for a few seconds. Sure enough it turned on. The bike is a good quality as is the battery components. The bike performs well. Please get that user manual in the box, or at least have a note on the odometer explaining how to power off and on the bike.
