This has to be the worst bike I've ever laid eyes on.For starters, it arrived with a huge chunk ripped off the chain guard. When I reported it to the company, they told me that it was a "non-essential piece." Regardless of whether the piece is essential to a bike functioning, when I order a brand new bike I don't expect to receive a significantly damaged one.Moving on to the ride, the brakes are malfunctioning. Any use of the back brake releases ear-piercing noises, and leaves skid marks on the road. Additionally, the gear shift doesn't work, so it feels like I'm just spinning the pedals. I cannot pick up any speed without a proper gear shifter.I didn't expect a lot from this bike, but I did expect to be able to ride it a mile to and from school every day. Such a waste of money, and although I will be returning it, I lost money on the assembly AND I have to pay for return shipping, even though the company sent me a defective product. DO NOT PURCHASE
If I could give this bike a zero I would. Hand brakes didn't fit assembly right and kept sticking and the tires were so close to the pedals that every time I turned, the wheel hit my foot. Only redeeming experience with this purchase was the amazing customer service I received from Amazon when I went to return it.
