Below are some critical reviews about ENGWE Electric Mountain Removable ProfessionalBuilt this bike because some parts came didn’t come assembled, no biggie took about 30 mins to set up. What I’m most disappointed in that my first few rides was fine except for the throttle meaning I couldn’t go full electric. But now that I rode the bike the last two times the auto peddling stopped working I would have to stop remove the battery and replace back so it can go back up and running again. It is annoying that I have to do this almost ever two- three blocks I travel. I bought the bike so I wouldn’t peddle so much (Not so fit in my legs I’m 5’8 180 pounds with a beer belly) and it gets me tiring when I have to go through hills that I have to get off the bike and walk with it.
I purchased this E-Bike for my son. He is greatly disappointed. I am giving this product only one star; after all, what is an E-Bike worth when the battery does not function or charge? I have had this product for only six (6) days. I have started the claims process with Asurion. I am supposed to receive a response from Asurion within three (3) business days. Asurion may just refer me back to Engwe. I have read among these reviews that Engwe is difficult to work with. I will pursue this matter with Amazon as well. As matters proceed, I'll update this review and rating accordingly. I hope this purchase on Amazon does not end up being a costly mistake.
I got my bike which is back in its box with a broken battery hub, the balls coming off the disc at the handle bar,I wrote in with photos. That was seven days ago I have yet to receive a reply. This was a birthday gift, this experience just killed the excitement.

So what a disaster with NO RETURN..first the directions OMG VERY VAGUE GOOD LUCK SECOND DID NOT COME WITH TOOLS THAT WERE “ included” then after getting this thing together i go to put seat on POST NOT INCLUDED so i bring it to bike shop ONLY to find out post for seat is infact INSIDE THE FRAME WILL NO COME OUT.. so 600$ bike that drives 20 miles an hour SUPPOSEDLY has no SEAT for my son to sit while he rides.. contacted them NOOO RESPONSE!!!i just got screwed for 600$as this un rideable bike SITS WAITING ON A MIRACLE!!
Bike met all my expectations. Nice looking, rides smooth and the peddle assist has get up and go. Works excellently going in the wind and up hills. Disc brakes work good. Gears shift well and it's a nice color combination. Great bike for the money.
Assembly was fairly easy and straight forward. I think it took about an hour or so. Riding it took some getting used to but is very easy. Seat is a lot to be desired, so I bought a good fat one and now riding is a pleasure. 15 miles is the furthest I've gone and had plenty of juice left (3 lights). I ordered a back rack and bag so I can take off on Saturdays all day. I'll let you know how that goes. In Tucson we have bike trails running all over the place without the traffic of rimshot drivers.
