Instructions looks from another bike, pictures so small. Looks I should return if didn’t get the HELP today tomorrow. The Biggest problem for this Bike no return. How fix existing Problem no Idea.
Bike dead right out of the box battery fully charged controller dead spin back tire sounds like motor is bad seller very slow to respond another Amazon nightmare the quality of dealers on Amazon has really gone down hill
The bike has broken with just 45miles on it! Keeps reading an error code . Customer service will not respond. I would not buy from this company only because if something breaks or malfunctions you have no support.

This is my first ebike. I’m 6ft 270lbs and this runs me 20mph easy. Ecotric recommended 260lbs. I took this bike 20 miles today on mixed terrain using assist 3 and 4 mainly. I was just a bit below half power at the end of the run. I feel 30 miles is not out of the question. I own a standard Dahon folding bike and this bike is built like a tank compared to that.The bike took me about an hour to put together and another hour to adjust the derailer and brakes. Due to my size I’ve already made three simple modifications. I bought some real Metal pedals, a more comfortable seat, and a seat post with a shock built onto it. It made this ride completely comfortable. I can fold his bike up and put it in the trunk of my Volkswagen Jetta. Two of these would easily fit in the back of a midsize SUV. It does weigh about 60 pounds. This Will make a great camping companion, and I’m already contemplating buying a second. Be prepared to take good care of the battery to maximize your charge life, as a replacement is $399 for the 48v 13ah. I’m sure you could find an aftermarket much cheaper. Watch the large bumps and curbs as I don’t feel there’s quite enough spokes on the tires. Lots of fun and I highly recommend it.
This bike has exceeded all of my expectations, except for two things, which is where the 4 stars comes from which I will outline below..Upon initial assembly, the star nut in the neck of the frame that joins the handlebar to the front fork, was nearly paper thin and bent like paper would when tightening it up, so I replaced that immediately and it's been perfect ever since.The second issue is with the waterproofing of the electronics, more specifically the controller in the bottom compartment under the pedal assembly. After only two months and after getting caught in a light rain for about 5 miles, I found that my speed controller was soaking wet and kaput. I am currently talking with the seller and will update this review after all is said and done, and will give it it's deserved 5 stars if all goes well, because other than these two things, this bike is truly an amazing buy. Oh yeah, It took a few days to get used to turning with these fat tires too, lol.EDIT and UPDATE: I have nothing to do with this company and am not getting paid or anything just FYI.Anyway, dealing with Ecotric was a breeze and they sent me a new controller with zero hassle at all, just info aiding the further waterproofing of it. I can't say enough about the bike, and the company really, they're fantastic. If I had to gripe about something, if I was forced to, I would say it'd be nice to have suspension/shocks, but with the giant tires, you can just let out some air so they're extra bouncy, and while it's not true suspension, it's absolutely sufficient! 😁
This is also my first ebike. It feels really solid with the wide tires.The bike is surprisingly big. The pictures make it seem like it's not a full-size bike, but it really is. I'm 5'8" and it's a great fit for me. I raised the seat to get full leg extension.It feels like a superpower to have the bike kick in when you pedal. Climbing hills is so much easier. For me it makes the worst part of biking, the endless hill, feel like not a big deal. Keep both hands on the handlebars when you pedal so you're not surprised when the power kicks in.I found the rear derailleur was blocked from going into the high gear by the protector bar. I bent the protector out a little bit and now the bike can reach the highest gear. You might not even notice this is happening.There are menu items about running lights but no wires exposed to add them. There is a USB port under the display that runs whenever the bike is on. The pic shows some LED lights I tested out in it. It might not be too hard to put a permanent USB-powered light on the front.
