Below are some critical reviews about ECOTRIC Certified Aluminium Suspension RemovableOne star because I have to give any at all... where do I begin...FIRST OFF, They claim the bike is mostly pre-assembled; BIG FAT LIE, It is maybe 25% assembled, like they welded the frame and wired it... seriously that's about all, get ready for an uphill climb and thats just to build it, the speedometer, the bell, the seat, the tire, the handle bars AND the pedals are all on you!! And get ready because they dont even include correct instructions, the instructions speak of screws that do not exist, skip necessary assembly points and keep you guessing the entire way right down to the pedals... oh the pedals, get ready, *drum roll please* THEY DONT FIT!! We weren't even sent all the parts necessary to build the damn thing in the first place, and because the instructions dont mention assembling the pedals (because presumably that's something that should already have been done when arrived) we didnt notice the bunk parts til the very end... now we're sitting here with a 95%assembled bike we can't ride... THIS CONPANY NEEDS TO GET THEIR STUFF TOGETHER!! I AM HOT, SWEATY, TIRED AND PISSED!!UPDATE (a month and half later) filed amazon AtoZ guarantee because the seller refused to help me retun it and just kept sending me one defective part after another... the motor had to be replaced, the pedals had to be replaced, the battery and screen had been replaced then while testing the used replacement battery they sent, one of the breaks went out, trying to steady the bike the pedal snapped off and a large chunk of a wooden bench ended up in our leg... amazon requested a return and they offered for me to return the battery for a $30 refund!?!? Hopefully AtoZ guarantee will cover me!
It is hard to judge from pictures on Amazon or the web how really BIG, HEAVY, and TALL this bike is.I was not prepared for how large and relatively heavy a frame was used on this bike and how TALL the bike stands on 4-inch fat tires. While the text in the Amazon advertisement for this bike suggests that riders could be from 5" 8"" to 6" 3" tall, I would say that this is incorrect and unrealistic. Even with the seat fully lowered to the minimum height, the bike stands high enough so that someone who is 6" 1" tall cannot sit on the bike and have both of his feet touch the ground even on tiptoes. This is a bike only for those 6' 3" or greater in height from the standpoint of safety and comfort..I would like to add that Amazon does NOT permit this bike to be returned (this is not mentioned in the Amazon advertisement but is in fact the case. If you order this Ecotric bike from Amazon and find that the bike is too large for you to safely ride - you are stuck with the bike.
I purchased this bike two months ago for my wife's birthday. The brakes did not work from the first ride. I took the bike to a bike repair shop to find out the problem. The bike technician told me the front brakes were defective. I reached out to the seller for a replacement part and instead they sent me a bleed kit for the brakes. I had to purchase a new pair of brakes for almost $300 which now makes this bike cost almost $2000. The bike is still not ready to ride over two months later. Based on my experience with this company I would not recommend purchasing from them.

Love the comfort and feel. For the money a great buy.Couple gripes...the handlebars won’t stay solidly from slipping. Very poor Knurled finish on stem and bars is hardly perceptible and doesn’t allow for a solid clamp grip.I’m going to use an old BMX trick and use JB Weld.My computer screen came out of the box with a crack🙄 so check everything when unpacking.Top speed is NOT 28 MPH best I can do is 21mph and I’m 185 lbs.No setting on computer for throttle override, meaning you either get 1-5 peddle assist and the power is limited to the speed of each setting. No matter what you do with the throttle
She is a beast but a super fabulous beast. Sorry, it is tallish and someone shorter than 5’8” might have a tough time managing it. 1000 watts is the key. Can’t keep a person in the.house when it’s this easy to enjoy the outdoors.
Great value. We bought 2 Hammers and love the power. I weigh 220 lbs. and the bike powers me up about any hill without peddling except on the real steep ones. The assembly took about 2 hours with the rack and fenders. You do need to release the air from the tire to install the rear fender but this is a great opportunity to add 6 or 8 ounces of green slime. We bought the 32 ounce bottle of green slime to do both bikes during assembly. One bike had a defective throttle which the seller sent out in about 5 days. They also emailed diagnostic information. It took about an hour to install and was an easy project. I first ran mechanics wire through the frame so I could tape the new wire connector to into pull it through. I highly recommend watching any and all YouTube videos you can find prior to receiving your bike because it made assembly much easier. I also highly recommend the rear rack and fenders. A rear view mirror and helmet are must haves because we average 20 mph but going down hill have hit 35 mph. We also bought an ebike rack for the motorhome so we won't need to pull a car for state, county and national parks. Yes, ebikes are now approved for national parks! Enjoy
