Below are some critical reviews about BalanceFrom Youth Mountain Speeds 26 Inch WheelsSeems like a decent bike. Did have some paint chips probably from shipping and one screw that was not able to be tightened (not stripped out, the Allen head had a burr or something in it). Derailleurs were not adjusted. Ended up dropping it off at a bike shop for them to adjust everything and replace the screw that is messed up. When I contacted customer service they simply said return the bike. I like the bike overall, I guess you get what you pay for
The factory setup was a complete failure as the derailer when shifting went right into the spokes of rear wheel causing me to crash.I had to install a different derailer as the company customer support was NIL.
Yes after four months of trying to get a bike from Amazon during these particularly odd times with the pandemic. I finally received this mountain bike for a friend of mine. Workmanship was some of the worst quality I’ve ever seen right from. The condition of the box in shipping. To the quality of the bike it’s self. It is bad enough to think that it’s almost unuseable the seat was stuck in and couldn’t get it out because of blow through with welds. Finally got it out and just going to leave it in the one position. Scratches. And cheap plastic parts and so-called Shimano gear equipment and brakes. Oh well I guess once but twice shy.. so for the high cost of this bike I highly do not recommend this item.
