Below are some critical reviews about AVASTA Mountain 21 Speeds Aluminum SuspensionThe "all terrain" tires are poor quality and one of them will not hold air. I spent approximately an hour and 30 minutes assembling it and was unable to ride very far before the tire lost air. In the short distance I rode the bike, I noticed the fork was flimsy and flexed awkwardly. I also noticed the brakes were weak and did not adequatly slow the bike. After replacing the rear tire while putting the wheel back on, the rear axle bolt stripped on the side opposite the sprockets.The product is almost impossible to return with the amount of styrophom sheeting and zip ties that had to be removed. The box was also stapled shut and had to be torn to be opened.I wanted a cheaper bike because I don't ride very far and never in rough terrain. I believed this would suit my needs but a cheap Walmart bike would have been satisfactory.

First bike was lossed by carrier 2nd bike is not functioning- front disc brake spins off. Think I got a used bike. Would not buy this model or manufacture. Looking for help to fix my ‘new’ $300 purchase. Good luck!

The bike is nice and has some nice features. I bought this bike to ride on the road and some light trail use for my partner. I bought this bike with the assumption that I could put it together because I am mechanically inclined, but ended up taking it down to the local bike shop to get the disc brakes aligned properly and gears adjusted so it would shift correctly. Everything else was easy to install on the bike. Once that was done, the bike has been amazing to ride and is everything I hoped for.I would rate it higher if the brakes and gears were easier to adjust when I was putting it together initially. Good bike for the money, but you may need a little extra help putting it together out of the box.
