Below are some critical reviews about AW Electric Bicycle Front 470RPMWell even though the wheel was very on point after a mile or two the wires are very loose and will disconnect from the controller which cause a lot of problems on your bike The wheel only works for maybe a month before the wires come out from it I have bought three and I'm using too much money just to buy a controller and a wheel that I don't need You cannot find controller for it and they won't sell it separately so beware of this item but when it does work it's great but unfortunately it doesn't work long enough
AW sent a defective product that runs backwards and they refuse to send diagram so that I can change direction of motor. the motor is front wheel so I can use it but without brakes. This is not acceptable, AW now says they no longer have this item. Scam Scam Scam

Excellent motor kit for the price , I needed to replace the hub motor on my electric scooter an this did a great job, it’s very well built , only complaint is there is almost no low end torque so I modded the shunt on the controller to compensate ( also replaced the main power leads wit 8ga wire ) I’m running it off 16 lifepo4 cells at 26ah I ran it for 6 miles at wide open throttle ( pulls 40amps peak full speed stabilizes at 25-30 amp ) and only drained 7.5ah top speed was 29mph . I checked the caps in the controller and they are rated for 63v for anyone interested in over volting , I’m going probably push it to 60v but I’ll need a few more cells for that. Does not have regen braking so was a little disappointed by that but I believe it’s a feature of the controller just doesn’t include the wires , I’m going to get the diagram for it an see for sure if I do I’ll update thisUpdate : the motor is still going strong , the controller not so much, I ran it at 48v ( 54v not under load ) every work day 3 miles each direction so it held up pretty good compared to other controllers I’ve had but it started failing to move the scooter and the shut off randomly while riding and this one was scary it started running in reverse after stopping almost causing a few accidents , I’ve replaced the controller with a heavier duty 48v-72v 2000w controller and it takes off so much faster and hits higher top end about 32mph , I plan on eventually going to 60 or 72 volts and will update if I do
I'm an industrial designer and I spend a lot of time looking at the way things are made. The mechanical bits on this wheel are SOLID. The wheel itself is double-walled and made of relatively thick steel and the handlebar accessories (including all the switches and brake levers) are suitably well made. There are a couple questionable plastic pieces here and there in non-critical locations which, given the apparent quality of everything else, don't feel like they belong. The instruction manual is pretty straightforward as well.This is not a normal bike wheel; it is as wide as indicated in the description of the item. Other reviews have been unfairly critical because the wheel doesn't fit into the forks on whatever bike they wanted to electrify. If you don't have a fat bike fork, this wheel will not fit- it's not even close.I'll update the review once I get some mileage on the motor. If there's no update here, assume everything went really well.
Love these wheels I have two of them on one bike. Running With a 58 V battery.front 48v rear Rocket bike Are use these wheels on my trikes too. They seem to take a beating.
