Below are some positive reviews about PASELEC Electric Mountain Lithium ProfessionalJust got the bike today, every detail about the bike exceeded my expectations!!! First, the shipping timeline said it was supposed to get here between May 4 and May 10, it arrived April 30. Shipped via FedEx from California to Utah. Every single detail of the bike also exceeded my expectations, from the shocks, the lightweight rims, display, the leather grips, how easy it was to assemble, even down to the kickstand, everything exceeds the quality that I anticipated.I took it for an initial 45 minute ride up and around the steep hills of the Wasatch front Salt Lake mountains where I live, The ergonomics of the bike were wonderful, the speed and power blew me away! I’m so excited to put lots of miles on this bike. I will come back and leave an update after I’ve gotten a chunk of miles logged. I am just psyched that my research brought me to this bike and I thought I was taking a big risk because there were only one or two reviews about it from the US.06/06/21 Update:One suggestion and another positive comment. My suggestion is, do not inflate the tires over 50 psi unless you replace the tubes with a higher quality tube, even though the tires say 45 to 60 psi. My back tire tube exploded riding down the street, to the point where it blew the tire off the rim and I bent the rim. The positive side, I emailed the company about it on Sunday afternoon and they responded Monday morning stating that they were shipping me a new rim and spokes. Unfortunately, I will not get to ride for the next 10 days while it’s shipping here but I’m pleased that they we’re willing to do that. I have emailed them about a couple of questions over the past month and they have been very responsive.
Love this bike and have found Paselec customer support to be highly responsive, friendly and accommodating to date.Knowing NOTHING, I did find the instructions and manual lacking. For example, the bike comes 85% assembled. So I didn't notice the forks were installed backwards to the handle bar mount! Fortunately their support team did while addressing a minor issue for us.Purchased a 2nd bike with a very different experience. The seat post clamp was missing and the gear indicator was cracked. They wanted me to take it to a bike repair shop but then agreed to replace the parts. Then we discovered the front brakes were rubbing. They were a completely different brake than the original purchase. We made fruitless attempts to adjust them and when we reached out were asked to provide pictures and video of the brake making the noise and they would send me a repair video. Well they decided that no I should take it to a repair shop and that they'd reimburse me. Local bike shops won't touch the ebike unless they sold it. So I'm stuck with a brake that will prematurely fail. Also, the front forks were AGAIN backwards to the installed handlebar mount and the battery port plug was miscut and was lost on the 2nd ride.Note: the first bike was shipped from Amazon, whereas the 2nd one was not. I am highly suspicious that Amazon was provided with a product with higher quality components than what the shipped directly.
I am very pleased with the spike. It is everything I expected as per the description. The company so far has been very good to me answering any questions I have through email. Having an electric bike is a new experience for me and I’m sure it could be for many others who stop using their bikes a little less because of health issues. Electric bikes are for everyone, but I think it’s especially helpful for those that stop riding their bikes do two bad knees or other health issues. Yes go ahead and ride your bike normally and when you need that little pick up and you want to keep going that’s when you kick into power assist you are still peddling but with a little push like somebody from the back of your bike giving you a boost. For one minute do not think you are still not getting a little exercise and working your heart and legs, of course unless you’re just using the throttle then you’re not doing anything, but you do have that choice. I do have so much to say about it but not enough space or time here. I do plan on starting my first YouTube channel on this bike now that I am retired. I hope to follow through with it. Enjoy
