The seller was great and shipped in a timely manner but the customer service team at Fatboy Mini BMX went above and beyond. I emailed Fatboy directly after I had a problem with the crankset stripping after 2 hours of use on the Saturday morning after Thanksgiving and explained that I bought the bike online from an amazon vendor and although I was impressed with the build quality I was a little dissapointed with the apparent defect in the crankset. I recieved a phone call in about an hour (on a Saturday morning during a holiday weekend) and they very nicely explained that it was not a manufacturing defect but rather that I installed the pedals backwards and that is what caused the problem. I had to admit that I did not look at the instruction book and it was highly likely that it was actually my fault and not a defect after all. To my surprise they are still shipping me a new crankset and pedals at no charge. Even though it was my fault they are taking care of me as a new customer. To that end I will be referring friends to these guys and I am already planning on ordering a grind rail and some other stuff for Xmas presents. I would order from these guys with a second of doubt. To have someone send replacement parts even though I bought it elsewhere and installed the pedals backwards shows their level of commitment to customer service. I was already working on the return process with amazon when I shot off that Facebook message about my issue. As a result they now have a very loyal customer. Not to mention the frame, wheels, etc are very sturdy and should last no matter what stunt you put this mini bike thru.As a side note... make sure you install the left pedal on the left side and the right on the right. I was in a hurry because my son couldn’t wait to get out and hit the ramps in the yard with the new mini bike. When I spoke to Ike I mentioned idiot proofing the process by putting little L and R stickers on the pedals and he told me that it is already in the works for the next production cycle.
Great stunt bike
Haven’t put the bike together yet but everything looks great! Super fast shipping, quality packaging! Can’t wait to put it together my son is going to love this!
