Below are some critical reviews about ENGWE Electric Mountain Aluminum RemovableI bought 2 of there 500w 48v bikes. For my wife and I. One of the battery packs went bad in 3 months. Then I had a throttle problem with both bikes. Then both of the bikes motors got hot and quit working. Spent $2,000 for these bikes in total. They took a months time stalling me saying they could send me parts to fix it myself. But they wanted to charge me $300 for parts when the first bike broke. The discovery of the problem and the communication with the customer service was months prior to my warranty expiring. However now since they stalled me for just a few days past my expiration of my warranty they will not honor the warranty. Very poor and un helpful customer service. Poor quality on all the parts on the bikes. I would never buy from them again. I will be seeking legal action after I talk with Amazon and ask them my recorse.
Kickstand does not work that well due to the fact The bike doesn’t lean enough to balance itself properly. Also when you get a flat. I do not have anything to fix it right away you have to pick up the back wheel little bit in order to roll it to your destination. Due to the fact . When you get a back flat tire And you are walking the bike the rim scrapes against the floor Robataya most kind of to the side and your rims start scraping. That should not happen

I lost my right arm in Afghanistan and have trouble with regular bikes. This has been really helpful to get me around town. It was easy moving the throttle and front and rear brake to the left handlebar. I bailed pretty bad and broke the screen and I'm having trouble finding a replacement but it still works I just can't tell how charged the battery is anymore.
Very easy to put together looks really cool. Very fun to ride. Only thing i dont like is the white stripes on the fenders. Will climb very steep hills.
I’m changing my review back to 4 stars the customer service is great. They got back to me and sent me the documents I needed to fix the issue. Not sure why the issue happened but it did. I am enjoying this purchase.I bought this bike and I have never rode an ebike before. I really like the bike it’s way bigger then I thought and goes roughly 25mph. The problem I have is after the first charge of the battery the bike screen says it has a full battery the whole time. It does not drain the bike just eventually shuts down. Not sure what to do about it
