Junk. Clutch broke after first use. Did not even make it down the driveway.

Very mediocre experience. Boxes were unsealed. Packaging was torn. Parts settled to the bottom of the box. And a bearing was crushed.Will be pursuing replacement of bearing and will update.UPDATE: Ok, so you need tools to get a good fit on this. Parts are low quality which is to be expected from these things. Be very careful with torsion. I broke one of the mounting plates tightening a bolt.I never did get that replacement bearing and had to buy a 4-pack separately .Ended up having to weld some of it, so word of caution. A welder and grinder may help.

This kit is not for beginners or someone who thinks it can be put in, in a weekend. I have 3 bikes that it should have fit in according to the listing. I have it almost together on the third bike and now the exhaust won't fit. With every adjustment available. The cast mounts had to be machined so that the bolts would fit in. Both ways. Very frustrating. If you are thinking about buying, definitely know how to fabricate parts.

The engine itself actually looks pretty good. I must admit I haven't opened it up, but judging by the quality of the casting, fasteners and overall fit and finish, it seems well built. It starts up every time on the 2nd or 3rd pull and is very easy to start when cold.The rest of the hardware is very bad though. The fuel tank has a big scratch and the paint arround it is kinda weird, like if it were damaged when the paint was fresh. the handlebars feel incredibly cheap and flimsy. The extended crank didn't work on my Huffy Cranbrook, but it also looks and feels excceptionally cheap. All the boolts and fasteners are awful. I had to remove the rear sprocket after installing it, and one of the bolts simply snapped, and another got stripped. This was with hand tools and all bolts were properly installed. One of the hex nuts for the fuel tank straps wasn't threaded. It was just a hexagonal piece with an undersized hole and no thread. Thankfully I found a suitable replacement in my stash.Installing the engine was more frustrating than fun, partly due to the cheap hardware, and partly because the engine is so big. I had to get a different bicycle because the mountain bike I originally found didn't fit the engine at all. Even with the larger Beach cruiser, the engine fit very tightly and I had to grind down one of the engine mounts. Also I had to bend the plastic choke handle by gently heating it up.One last thing to note is that the engine comes with practically no oil. I've seen a couple of reviews stating that the engine died for no reason after less than an hour of use, and I suspect that they ran the engine out of the box with no oil. I used inexpensive 10w-30 Full Synthetic oil. The engine needs like 0.25L of oil, so 1qt should be plenty for a while.Lastly, if you don't already have a bike, get one without a coaster brake. It gets in the way and is way weaker than a proper hand brake.Edit: You might want to replace the clutch. A few days ago I was going for a test ride after fitting new brakes, when I noticed that the engine would vibrate very violently when accelerating. The vibration was so strong that I had trouble holding onto the handlebards and any screw on the bike that wasn't tight immediately fell off. I started suspecting that it was the clutch, so I took apart the bell housing and cleaned everything with degreaser and a brush and the vibration did go away. However, the clutch is pretty worn out and seems to be the incorrect size too. You can see that there's about 1-2mm of material left on the clutch, and there is a huge gap, probably 4-6mm between the clutch itself and the bell housing. It would seem that either the clutch is too small, or the springs are too strong because the clutch never fully engages, even at 25 mph, so it's always slipping. I also have to rev the engine very high before the clutch engages. All this wear occured with probably less than 2 hours of consecutive riding. I filled the tank to about 50% for the first ride, and there's still probably 30% fuel left in it.

 I used this motor for my 26 inch cruiser. Fit was tight but i made it work. Wouldnt start so i used some starting fluid to get it to fire and lots of carb cleaner. Had to adjust the carb to make it run right. Also no header bracket. Already broke a bolt off in motor. Adding front and back brakes to it. And header braket. No direction. Watched you tube. Really fun to ride. Now starts right up. Love it. Top speed around 30.Three weeks later. Replacing crap carburetor. Kit carb wont adjust right. Next putting on t41 chain. Works better with rag joint. Had to replace crappy gas tank. It started linking. Motor is good. Kit should come with a exhaust header bracket. Header fall off first ride. Bought bracket on eBay. No more problems.

Fitment was good but required a lot of grinding on the mounting plates. These companies selling these should just charge a little extra and put a good tensioner in the set along with a rear wheel assembly to install. The engine came with a crack in the case and after 2 hours of use smoked the clutch. When replacing the clutch found that the engine was shipped with one of the clutch springs broken. Good project for teaching a child about small engines and how components work together. Other than that I do not see this as reliable transportation.
