Reviews

Below are some positive reviews about Macwheel Electric Brushless Dual Disc Teenagers

This bike has it all. The motor and battery can act alone or with assistance. If you have it all on you can go up to 35 miles on one ride. The max speed is 5 miles per hour. And that’s if your not peddling. If peddling you can crank it up to at least 15 miles per hour. You can use in electric mode or assisted mode. When on the move you can put in the trunk or in the bus is seconds. So easy to store this bike. It easily folds up and I’m 5ft it’s folds smaller than me so I can lift and it’s not Awkward. There are three driving modes to useElectric: if you want just electric you press the switch adjust the gear and turn the throttle. That’s it Electric assist: you add on by pressing on the peddle. Regular riding: make sure to set to zero and peddle away. The look of the bike is sleek and made of aluminum alloy that will help it have longevity of rusting and in Florida that’s important. They even included a bell on the front to sound off. This was so easy to put together. We opened the box and pulled out the folded bike my husband only had to install the pedals, handlebars and seat plate, so he was happy.

It’s not everyday that a purchase brings so much joy and puts a smile on my face. It’s been a while since I last rode a bicycle but having the extra electric push made it much easier and franklymore enjoyable to use.I am having such a blast just riding all over the place with it. It’s great because I can just fold the handle bars down and fit it into my car and take it to the beach and ride on it down the boardwalk. My experience with this bike is that of a more casual in nature and is great for trips within 5-10 miles. It is very sturdy and as I mentioned in my video that there a just a few pieces that are not metal.I found that inflating the tires fully really makes a differences for getting a higher, or at least achieving the max speed, from the motor. This is definitely a commuters bike but it is NOT safe to ride in area that have a lot of potholes or cracks on the sidewalk. The reason is that the tires are smaller than your standard mountain or race bike and will not be able to compensate for the irregularity so be careful and always wear a helmet.I found that the pedal assist to be very good especially with the different levels available. For example I like to have the pedal-assist on the level 3 which is just enough to provide a little push but at the same time get feedback from my pedal pushing. If you put the pedal-assist to the highest level it makes pedaling futile. There is a forward facing light that I found to be more helpful to let others see me than to provide illumination for myself. There is a red rear-facing reflector under the seat which is a good safety feature in case you don’t have a blinking light or a safety vest. The pedals also have reflectors on them. The seat is height adjustable just like a regular bike which is adjusted through a horizontal latch.I can’t forget one of my favorite design features that makes moving the bike so easy. In one of my posted pictures you can see that they integrated a metal handle bar under the seat to make lifting and moving the bike much easier and which more leverage. The throttle offers nice feedback and makes it easy to have within your hands reach the brake and the throttle. There is a bell on the right handle bar which is also easy to operate when riding without needing to take my hands off the handlebar.Charging the bike is pretty straightforward and you can find the charging port towards the base of the seat’s shaft. It has a nice cover that fits snugly when closed to keep out dirt and/or liquids when in operation. Charging the bike took about 5 hours for me and for discharge it really depends how much of the pedal-assist I use. I switch it up between no assist and full assist and I only needed to charge it once in a week’s worth of riding about a half-hour daily. Obviously each persons experience and usage will be different.

This bike is a lot of fun to ride and is well manufactured. It took me all of 10 minutes to assemble once I removed it from the box. All one has to do is attach the peddles using the included wrench, take the seat out of the bottom of the bike why loosening the seat clamp, and put it back into the top hole, and tighten again. Then the handlebar flips up and tightens down and you are ready to go. One thing that caught my eye immediately removing it from the box was the attention to detail. The welds are solid was assembled with care. The paint is a good quality what I think is called a powdered paint look. The instructions are easy to follow but the 250W battery was plenty powerful even though I'm 200 pounds. If you don't want to go with all-electric or using the assisted mode when peddling the bike it is easy to do. I love the small compact size of the bike and when folded down fits in the back seat of my Honda Civic with no issues. The bike would be great for camping or if you need to use public transit and then ride a short way this bike would be perfect.... or a pre-teen/teen would have fun on it as well.
