The Good: (note: reviewer only uses PAS)*No shifting required on flat land! Keep it in high gear(7) - Launch with throttle. Less wear on chain and chain ring.*500Wh gives great range of about 50 miles in the second highest setting(2). (1) is useless, (3) rest legs using PAS and still get 30miles range.* Tapped holes to mount a bike rack! ( Although had to unscrew one side of rack near rear for axle bolt removal for flat, wheel removal.)The Not so good:*My legs can't do more than 9% on extended mtn grades, even lowest gear and highest power. However, For almost all underpasses, not a problem. Also, not a problem on trails with short grades and wide turns using built up momentum.* PAS of this bike is sluggish in changing power, causing standing crashes in tight turns.* Since bike is a hard tail and used on long, bumpy trails, had to install a gel seat to reduce saddle sores. Previous bikes had seat post shock or rear suspension.* Unless you have bike tuning experience, Go for the paid assembly. (Bike is such a good value, will not mention Carrier and vendor snafus ( well, I will: Bike was at the Carrier local depot but they missed 3 promised deliveries. Finally, had to pick it up!)In summation, an outstanding ebike value, very good range, and easy to ride, especially using the throttle for launch, thus, never having to shift. Bike will have difficult time in rough terrain. Difficult time defined as hopping off and using the powered walk feature for the steep,long grades.
It took two months to arrive. It came over a week past the expected date. Customer service takes over a day to respond to messages and when they do, the information is minimal with very little to no explanation.I wanted to change the color of my bike about a week after ordering, I emailed them and they responded back saying it was no problem. They did not change the color.They also said my bike was shipped in the beginning of July but the delivery address was to California and I’m in Virginia. My credit card was charged at this time. After asking them about this, they said there was an error with their system and it would be fixed in a couple days. It took two weeks for a new tracking number and the address was corrected. Just seemed a little off to me. They said they would send me a bike lock as a gift for problems, I never received it.Finally, upon arrival box looks a little rough from transport. They are a few dings and chips in the paint. Packaging isn’t great and I was missing a screw for my light. Front tire installation was different than video, but I was able to figure it out.First test drive has been okay, brakes weren’t calibrated correctly and I needed to adjust them. The top speed is a little misleading. I’m only 155 lbs and I couldn’t get over 22 mph on flat ground. You can’t peddle any faster at those speeds because of how the gearing works. The peddles just spin like it’s in to low of gear.Overall, the bike is okay, decent price. But if I knew I what I know now I would’ve just gone straight to a Chinese wholesale website and it would’ve been the same thing, but cheaper.

This bike is fantastic. My wife just took it for a 8 mile ride on a very hilly stretch today and it worked perfect. When she got back she was not even winded from that ride. Assembly was quite easy and no adjustments were needed to the gearshifter or brakes. However beware there are no instructions just a quick video to assemble and no owners guide to look up and verify anything. Even with this fact I still have to rate this product five stars for the price and what appears to be quality. We are very happy with our purchase in fact we bought a second one. However it should be noted that you will have to wait a very long time to receive this item we waited approx. two months Ordered in May and received it July. Because this item is so new it is still too early to give it a true rating. I will revisit after a few months of usage. But at this moment after a trial run it’s five stars.
I'm 76 years old and only a few pounds overweight, but I want to shed a bit of weight and get in better cardiovascular shape . I felt an eBike would be the way to go. It took a while, I researched dozens of bikes including some start ups on Indigogo.I had some specific things I was looking for with price being a major consideration. When I came across the Eahora, the price seemed almost too good, but the reviews said otherwise.Another thing that attracted me to the bike is the fact is had only 7 gears and 3 levels of pedal assist. For me this was PERFECT, because 99% of the riding I will be doing is on the Rockingham Recreational Trail. It is a 25 mile trail made from an abandoned branch of the B&M railroad. It's flat and straight. There is no need for a lot of shifting.When the bike came, there was no paper manual, but I was able to download it from the site. It required assembly and I found the easy to follow YouTube video, to guide me through the process.There was nothing in the manual about tire pressure. A little more research led me to the conclusion was that it should be somewhere between 50-65 psi. Unfortunately, when I approached the 50 psi point on the rear tire, it blew the tube.I immediately contacted the company. They responded within 24 hours and told me to have it repaired and they would credit my Amazon account. What transpired next was something that made the blow out worthwhile.I called a local ebike shop and began telling them the story. As soon as they heard I had purchased the bike online, they told me the generally only serviced brands they sell. I told them it was just a tube replacement and that was no problem. I dropped of the bike and it was ready in a few hours.When I went to pick it up, I was going to ask him what he thought of the quality of the bike. I never got the chance, as soon as I walked in the door he said, "That's a really nice bike. The reason we only repair brands we sell is because most online bikes that come in here are crap. "Then I asked him what he thought the bike cost and he guessed $1500. When I told him it was just over $900 he said, "With the battery???"We continued the conversation and he showed me a bike they sell that could have been my bike's brother. They looked very much the same, including the color scheme, but it had a more powerful motor, more gears, and it sold for $1700.It's only 20 degree here today, but I had to take it out for a test run. I am very please with the price, the performance, and the responsiveness of the company.
It took me over 24 hours to get used to this bike as i had another one that rides differently. I love this bike - would not trade it - glad I bought it. It has great battery power/regeneration making it good for Georgia hills. Going down hill and regenerating battery power - absolutely great. After my ride back home from the park this evening I still had all 5 bars on the battery. I bought it to do long rides and yes it does. Thanks!
