Below are some critical reviews about Challenger Electric Removable Intelligent MountainI am giving this 1 star until the company addresses my issues.I purchased this for my teenage kid for Christmas,. While overall the bike is of good quality and works well, out of the box it had some issues, which have yet to be addressed by the seller or the manufacturer even though I have sent 4 emails directly and through Amazon. I even tried to call the phone number for warranty service listed in the owners manual only to find it is no longer in service.Out of the box, the charger does not work, the plug appears to be the wrong size and will not plug into the battery easily, once in nothing happens, I put a multimeter on the charger to discover that there is zero volts at the charging port. Fortunately I have other e-bikes in the family and had a compatible charger from another brand. Same output voltage and connection and it successfully charges the bike, so at least Christmas wasn’t ruined for my kid. Secondly the USB port for phone charging doesn’t work, tried multi phones and cables with no success, not a deal breaker but an annoyance.My kid has put 90 miles on the bike in the first 4 days of having it and overall it has performed well, getting over 40 miles of range on PAS 3, we actually don’t know the full range as our family ride is 42 miles on a flat river bed and she still has 2-3 bars left at the end of that ride on the 10.4AH battery. While my Cyrusher xf800 with a 17.5ah battery dies around 32 miles requiring the use of a second battery for that same ride.My only other complaint is the front brake pads are noisy and when I took them out it appears they are over 60% used, not sure if this is a issue with cheap pads or how my kid uses the brakes, I get 600 miles out of the disc pads on my Cyrusher. I ordered some quality pads on Amazon to replace the originals, we will see if it is a rider or pad issue over the next few weeks, 90 miles on a set of pads in unacceptable.As long as I have this issue with the charger the rating will remain 1 star, I will update it to 4 stars once the seller or manufacturer decides to address the problem.
Impossible to charge and the seller will lie to you and say he is sending you replacement parts but never does.It's just an ugly mountain bike with no power assist at this point.

I really like the bike. Great range and power. The charging plug that came with the bike didn't fit the battery and it took about 10 days to get the proper one mailed to me. The customer service was good considering it was at peak pre Christmas order rush. The assembly instructions are a little "bare bones" and the pictures and process could be a bit better, but not a deal buster at all. The bike is everything I was hoping for and more.
We had an issue at first as the charger plug wouldn't fit. It took a few days to get the adapter but now that it has been received, we are very happy.
Excellent electric bike with a 48 volt battery. Assembly wasn't difficult and although the instructions were a little confusing customer service responded quickly with detailed help. Only problem I had was the charger cord didn't fit correctly. They sent a new adapter and gift within a few days that corrected the problem. Very satisfied.
