It's very comfortable yet lightweight.I love the adjustability of the handlebars, the clicking gear shifter, the stepover shape.It is very good quality.Some fine points:1. I'm 5'4" but with shorter torso, longer legs, and I needed the size Large. The size charts are not really accurate.2. The size large is 31lb including the pedals.3. The tires are 40c (on the raleigh website it says 35c).4. Raleigh has the best customer service ever! If you call, you will speak with a human bike enthusiast working at Raleigh and s/he will chat with you about what model is best. They are great about answering emails. I will stick with this brand for life.I am very happy with this! I've already recommended it to friends.
Awesome bike! It's the second bike I've ever had. My first bike was given me in the 1950's! I needed to relearn how to ride. The old bike had brakes in the pedals and no gears. Having a step-through bike made it easier to brake and stop and not be fearful of relearning to ride. The gear changers are close to the handles and very easy to change when riding. This was the perfect bike for simple touring around. And, yes, I don't ever think one loses that feeling of balance no matter how many years have past since the last time being on a bike. P.S. It's so easy to change the seat height as I build confidence to ride the seat higher where it should be.
Beautiful Bike! Everything arrived in perfect condition and fast shipping! Having trouble finding a child bike seat to match it. Practically impossible unless you want to spend just as much as you purchase the bike for. But as far as the bike goes, the gears shift perfectly and its soooooo smooth!!! Worth every penny and would definitely recommend the brand.
