Below are some critical reviews about Raleigh Bikes Venture Comfort BikeThis bicycle is a joy to ride. I have tried "department store" bikes, and there were okay. But this bike is superior in every way. First, the handlebars are at the appropriate height for a casual rider. With department store bikes, I always felt hunched over. Second, the handlebars are angled correctly for the wrists. With department store bikes, my hands would go numb because the handlebars were straight, which but the wrists at an awkward angle. Third, the ride is smooth. The components are solid. I love riding this bike!
I wanted a bike that was a little better than the “big box” basic bikes and this one has a lot of upgrades. I’ve added a rear rack (mounts already on bike fit perfectly), lights and my favorite, a $5 bell. The gears and brakes worked perfectly right out of the box, but will probably need adjusting after a few months of break in. Very comfort and a joy to ride.
