Below are some critical reviews about Hiboy MAX Electric Scooter SuspensionsThe Highboy electric scooter is really large definitely looks like a scooter for an adult. It has a very stylish Batman look to it. The scooter has a very large rubberized standing deck which is very comfortable and spacious for the feet. The scooter has a very strong sturdy build to it and does not feel like it would fall apart when riding it. It has non air tires which is really good no Flats to worry about. The 350 watt motor is a true blessing compared to the 200 and 250 watt Motors scooters have now. I can get mine up to 18 and 20 miles per hour on a flat surface and I weigh 200 lb. It goes up steep hills very good usually at about 10 to 12 miles an hour not bad. Scooter has a bright front headlight and a red rear tail light that works exactly like a car brake which is great for night riding also it has two luminous blue light strips on the side of each battery Casey which looks really cool at night. The braking system works I mean it stops the scooter but they need to go back to the drawing board on this one. When you engage the break the front brake always engages first before the rear brake which causes you to Lunge forward very uncomfortable I tried adjusting it several times we could not get it to stop breaking front first then rear when it should be breaking exactly the opposite way rear than front break. The manufacturer is lying about the smooth ride you will get! You will not get a smooth ride on the scooter whatsoever the tires are solid and there are no shock absorbers they say they have one in the front and one in the rear but that's not true the scooter offers no shock absorption whatsoever but if you're riding on a smooth surface mostly it's not that much of a deal-breaker. The so-called easy one second unlatch and fold mechanism is not easy to unlatch and fold at all! In fact it's a real bummer I tried to unlock this damn thing! I tried every trick in the book wiggling handlebars pushing the handlebars forward while stepping on latch and no go I hurt my foot trying to unlatch it. So instead of returning the scooter I decided to keep it and use it as a unfolding scooter. So the scooter is well-made has power and a safe riding at night but they really need to go back to the drawing board and address some of these problems.
I liked this scooter. However, some of the functions of this scooter must be accessed through the app, which is non-functional. At least for this scooter it is. Hiboy has been made aware of this and shows no interest in fixing it. Overall, because of the garbage app, I consider this scooter to be garbage. Thanks Hiboy.
Upon receiving my scooter i noticed a few areas was damaged. Tge brake cable gouged, handles bars gouged and tge brakes were too loose and tge charger did not fit. The brakes were adjusted after watching a youtube video scratches can't be fixed nor tge brake cable unless i probably return it but im still unable to charge my scooter but thankfully it came fully charged and it even got upvto 18mph and im 6'2" 195lbs. All in all great product I will be in contact with the seller.

This scooter is excellent. The battery last a while and the speed is great. There is 3 modes of speed if one doesn’t like going super fast. It took about 3 minutes to assemble and I use it on college campus and it gets me to class so fast. Folds down very easily and is able to fit right in my car for transportation. I definitely recommend
Both I and my friend were looking for a Scooter to get us from Point A to B during our commutes to and from work a bit faster, or to assist on picking up a thing or two from the store. As a Commute scooter I have tried other electric powered commuting options before and am quite satisfied with the Hiboy Max V2, although my friend did have issues (read below) they were rather promptly solved in my opinion and I haven't received better customer service elsewhere online. We both are relatively slow walkers, so it takes us around 40 minutes walking to get to work or home. However, with these scooters it takes at most 12-25 minutes depending on conditions. The area we are in is quite hilly, not the fault of the HiBoy scooter however to its credit it only struggles on the last hill home and with little assistance (via kicking off the ground) it keeps its momentum and makes the whole trip enjoyable and painless. I want to leave a honest review here, and I am very satisfied with the Support offered by HiBoy and I do like their Scooter for the price offered here. The convenience of folding it up and storing it away and being able to get home quickly without spending money on gas or relying on Uber/Lift is nice. The Ride quality is nice, never once did I feel like there wasn't enough room for my feet or that I'd slip and the tires themselves have very good traction and the shocks make what would be a very jarring ride on a conventional scooter into a much better experience. However, my friends scooter began to have issues. First the fender fell off and second the motor struggled to get past 9/mph on a flat ground with no weight on it (top speed on mine is around 19/mph). I sent out an email to the Hiboy support team and to my surprise was got a rather prompt and courteous response (honestly, the best customer service I've seen online so far) and after explaining the situation and showing a video of the performance of the scooter in question we received a shipping label to have it sent back and replaced with another and we are currently eagerly awaiting a replacement.Tl;DR: would I recommend this scooter, Yes. If you aren't looking to spend well over a Thousand dollars on a Scooter and want a relatively smooth ride, Yes.
I received the electric scooter ten days ago, and spend about 10 minutes to install it, yes, only 10 minutes, so easy, then I can't wait to try it out, i van stand sturdy on the wide step board , and it has strong power battery to support my weight for a fast riding, and it upgrade the safe start function, it use the push and go mode, make the ride more safer, and it has two way brake system which surprised me, one brake is at the left side with one button pish down, and the other one is at the right side, the traditional hand brake, i have a lot fun with my new scooter
