Reviews

Below are some critical reviews about Mountain 21 Speed Suspension High Carbon HM Orange

The manual is not in good English (or Chinese). No air pump included; I have to borrow one. Even if I adjust the screw on the front brake disc to either of the two extremes, the disc still generates a frictive noise during ride. I don't know what was wrong, the manufacturer, the delivery, or myself.

Pedal screws do not fit

I liked the look, was easy to assemble. The problem was the seat and the breaks. If you don't know how to adjust, the bike shops I tried refused to provide service.

Below are some positive reviews about Mountain 21 Speed Suspension High Carbon HM Orange

I'll preface this review by saying I'm not an expert cyclist or even know what this or that feature really does. I specifically bought this just to get some exercise around my neighborhood. I will not be taking this off road or doing any sort of mountain biking with this thing. I wanted an inexpensive bike that looked cool AND something that would last.At first glance, the bike looks really nice. The rims and the color scheme fit me just right and have no complaints about that. The folding feature on this was kind of a bonus. I probably won't be taking this bike anywhere however it's good to know it can fold and conserve space.Feature wise, I think there's a good bit on this bike. You get the folding feature, dual disc brakes and dual suspension. I'm 6'3 200pds and the bike fits me well. I think it's a tad on the small side however nothing too bad. Since I'll just be cruising around the neighborhood, don't really think it will be much of an issue. Gears seem to work really well and haven't had any issues thus far with those. Overall, functionally speaking, the bike is pretty nice.Couple things I didn't like was the water bottle holder. Seems small and really can only hold your basic water bottle. Will probably replace this with something better. The seat on this thing is horrible. It feels like a 2x4 wrapped in pleather. I replaced this seat with something that had a bit more cushioning and that's made a world of difference for me. The splash guards on this are pretty useless....especially the rear one. The front one is ok but you gotta REALLY tighten it down to be secure and not flop around. Still debating on whether to keep this on or not. The rear one is just useless as far as I'm concerned. I have tightened this thing down as if god himself tightened it yet it still moves around very easily and can swing from side to side with just a little bit of effort. Overall, not really impressed with the splash guards so I may just wind up removing them altogether.Overall though, this bike checked off all the boxes in what I was looking for. Only thing left for me is durability/longevity but I can't comment on those just yet. The bike looks good and has plenty of features on it as well as being inexpensive. For now, I'm digging it so I hope it'll last a good bit for me.

The bike was fairly easy to put together - replaced the seat (wow is the OEM seat hard). Gears and brakes are good. My only issue is the "fixed" handle bar height, would have been better to have them adjustable - however for the price point - I can live with it. Very good value for a knock around bike that you can fold and put in your trunk (vs. bike rack). Just a leisure rider - no real mountain biking for me - maybe a bumpy road now and again. Oh and it is fairly heavy - but feels very sturdy.

Looks like good quality, sturdy .. I will write another review after using .The quick release system for front tire looks questionable imo....I'll find out tomorrow morning
