Below are some positive reviews about Heybike Cityrun Electric Removable Step ThruHeybike Cityrun ReviewI normally don’t do reviews anymore, but while researching the idea of me purchasing an e-bike, I have come to realize there are a lot of them out there and best suited for one or many uses.I am 76 years old and after loosing my wonderful wife, I ended letting my self go.I got to a point ware I needed to make a change or soon follow her.Doctor gave blood pressure pills and lots of life changes I needed to make.Exercise 150 hours a week, I started walking, winter came, got elliptical & treadmill.I lost some weight and began to feel much better.I did research about vitamins and the difference between pills and natural.I spent a lot of time in front of either a computer screen or TV. (Not out side)I was afraid like some folks my diet & gym time would fade over time so I purchased an E-bike.Unlike many other reviewers, I wanted to explain what I learned from countless reviews and the many years of experience I have had as a welder, fabricator, inventor, computer tech..First, this bike is nearly all aluminum or at least assumed to be because nonmagnetic.The suspension parts include steel or magnetic metal. The welds on all the aluminum parts are second to none and there are a lot of them. It’s as if this bike was designed to go car/motorcycle speeds. I do not believe these welds could break under normal to very heavy use.In my shopping research, I fond many places that other companies would skimp or be places that you would end up upgrading or adding accessories. Seems like Heybike was listing to it’s customers and including them right out of the box.Handle bar grips: Can not spin or slip, because they are secured at Bothe ends and designed to be functional as well as look rich.Gearing: Most bikes end up ghost pedaling at high speed because you run out of gears. Heybike Cityrun’s smallest gear is an 11 tooth, meaning you always can help your motor, even at it’s top speed.The back rack: Also aluminum with a high load rating.The lighting: Talk about over the top, wow! Very bright LED head light, tail light, Flashing break and turn signals. The word “Heybike” lights up as a kind of running light, front & back.Yes, it also has a horn. The display allows for many desired preferences. You can even down load an app for your cell phone to do more things like turn on you bike when you get very close to it and much more.The fenders are a light plastic, no rusting right.The handle bars can be adjusted up/down/ close or farther away.The seat is exceptional soft and rich lookingThe breaks are hydraulic and take extremely little effort to work.All parts appear to be of great quality for the price you pay.Tires came already aired up and ready to go.Not hard to assemble at all.It’s winter, but I could not wait to try this bike! Hard to believe how smooth & quiet this thing is.Remember I’m 76 and have not rode a bike for about 10 years, even then it was a recumbent.My knees felt fine and balance was no effort at all. I was able to make tight turns, I never could have on my recumbent bike.I have no connection with Heybike, but feel it is an up coming company, so deserved to be recognized for going above and beyond.Thanks Heybike!
