Some things caught me off gaurd, but I am ok with adapting to it.- I had it shipped to a UPS Mail box. Completed unboxing and riding in parking lot of UPS in 10 minutes. -Quick build time.- PROS: - power - cargo - battery lifeCons (or not cons just needing to adapt): - I was hoping to be able to use the pedals and then hit the throttle at my will.(not use pedal assist). Unless I am just doing it wrong, you have to be in a pedal assist mode to use throttle.This doesn't sound so bad until you realize the pedal assist lags. You pedal a second or two then the motor kicks on. You stop pedaling the motor continues a second or two.I'm sure I'll adjust. I just wish it had a pedal-throttle mode so i could control it slightly better.- 20x4 tires look serious but are wimpy. Thorn popped the rear tire in first 20 minutes.After some reading on Google it seems it's common for most inner-tubes...... they have stronger tires or stronger inner tubes.I found better tires on Amazon. This is not a big issue.The bike is worth it. I'll get my own tires.Excellent bike!
I just received my Victrip bike and the build quality is excellent. The bike is a heavy bike but that can be expected with the massive battery. The good thing is the battery can easily be removed to make moving the bike easier. Quick assembly but you may need two people to get it out of the box for setup. This is my first ebike so one thing that seemed odd but is probably specifc to all ebikes is when you first get on the bike and have it in pedal assist mode the bike takes off and accelerates to top speed as soon as you pedal. To use the throttle you must not pedal so that you can control the speed with the thumb throttle. It is not hard but just through me for a loop the first time I got on the bike. Overall very satisfied with the bike and quality.
