The front fork so bent the tire cannot placed on the front fork. The brake caliper for the front brake also will not work because it is bent. The box used is to small with to little padding other than a bit of foam wrap on the forks. Trying to contact the company to either get parts or a replacement. Will update this review accordingly.6/20/22 Company agreed to replace the bike. They sent a label and I sent mine back, they sent e a new one. The box they use is flimsy so it arrived in nearly the same condition. The forks are NOT PACKED properly for long distance shipping. I decided to bend the forks back myself and somehow , even though the forks look a little shabby if you inspect them I was able to get the tire to go on and fit the brake rotor inside the calipers.It runs and drives. however some minor issues ,no matter how tight I have the seat or handlebars they slip. I am a bigger guy at just over 200 lbs, after about a mile the seatpost slides slowly to the bottom and my knees hit my face.The headlight this one came with does not work, no biggie I will just replace it it is a toy anyway.The horn also does not work. I got a bell instead for my sidewalk rides in the park.My top speed at my weight of 210 lbs is 24.1 as measured by gps, and 25.4 on the speedometer. Hills are ok. struggles with my fat butt on steep hills dropping to 8-10 mph, but its acceptable for a bike at this price.So while I a still a little disappointed and this bike is most certainly not perfect. It will do what I need it to and good thing because now I'm past 30 days and the company has already sent a replacement. I am not waiting a month for another replacement anyway.
I received my bike yesterday and spent more time that what I thought I would, putting it together. I could've used a larger screw for the headlight and the fender or a little bit more detailed instructions. Other than that step, things went smooth. I already knew I would need a more comfortable seat so I ordered a C9 ahead and replaced it. I love the look of the bike and today was ready to take it for a spin when I noticed the inverted logo on the right side of the frame. I was already mildly disappointed because of the chipped screws of the stem, as seen in one of the pics, but I was willing to fix it with some paint. What I couldn't believe is that no one in the production chain noticed the mistake in the logo or cared enough to reject the piece and sent it back to paint it correctly. Now I am very disappointed because the bike is fully unpacked and assembled as to send it back.UPDATE: I added 1 star to my review due to the promptness of their customer service to reach back. The only option offered was to get a refund, though. I replied that I will keep the bike with the cosmetic defect it has because it would be too much of a hassle to send it back just because of that. If it comes to a mechanical defect, I undoubtedly will send it back. I will probably end up placing a sticker over the logo on both sides...smh
I generally really like this bike but mine at least came with a front brake rotor that didn't have enough room to clear and mount properly. After removing his t several times I did get it close enough for barely any rub. The rotor could probably be fixed by a tiny bit of machining but I rather expected it to fit without a shop.Tested it to 20 miles with 2 bars left. Should easily hit 30 miles range. Fairly comfortable (for a bike) and kinda quick too.

For the price, I think the Jasion EB7 is a great deal. You can spend a ton of money on an e-bike, but this hits a good middle ground. The bicycle is easy to assemble if you have some basic mechanical know-how. It took me about 1 hour to assemble everything, and another 2 hours to adjust and fix everything to my liking. Both front and rear brakes, rear derailleur, and the front handlebar/fork (handlebar would not align with the front tire out of the box) needed to be adjusted before the bicycle could be properly ridden. The adjustments are simple if you know what you're doing but take a little bit of trial and error, and the rear brake assembly has to be completely removed from the disc whenever you want to adjust the inside pad. I am not upset about the significant adjustments that needed to be made, I just wasn't expecting it. It is my first time buying a bicycle over the internet and not from a store already setup and ready to go, however. Overall, the quality of the build and parts seems more than acceptable.The issues I have with the bike stem from the electronics. There is a significant delay from when you start pedaling to when the assist kicks in, I'd say about 3 seconds and it's a little jarring when it activates. The pedal assist is immediate and it doesn't matter if you're pedaling fast or slow, the bike automatically accelerates to the highest speed in the pedal-assist setting you've selected (1 through 5). The throttle seems pointless since it is tied to the pedal-assist number, so if you're in PAS #1, the throttle only goes up to 6mph. I thought the whole purpose of a throttle would be to over-ride your pedaling and accelerate to the amount of throttle you give it. If you want to throttle up to the highest speed, you have to select PAS 5 which means even if you're pedaling slower the bike careens up to 21mph. The end result of the way the system works is that you're constantly switching "gears" like a manual transmission from 1-5 and it's not an intuitive or comfortable way to ride the bike. The best way to use the bicycle is to just select a specific cruising speed and stay with it, but that's not how you ride in an urban area. If you are riding on the street in PAS 2 and want to pass a vehicle, bicyclist, or other object, you need to switch up to PAS 5 to get enough throttle to do it and then switch back down. So unless you're riding on an empty straight road, get used to constantly "switching gears". This is my first e-bike so I am unfamiliar if these quirks are common or not, but it annoyed me enough to want to take a star off and write this review to share with you how this bike works.There is a hidden settings menu in the display but all of the features that might fix the above complaints were either disabled or hidden. There is no way, that I know of, to adjust how the throttle works or change the top speed of the bike.The seat was not uncomfortable and I don't plan on replacing it. If you're not used to riding a bicycle often, no seat is going to be comfortable until you build up that muscle group.I went on an 8 mile ride of mixed pedal/throttle at mostly top speed and ended up with about 40% battery life. It's the dead of winter here, so I assume that impacts battery performance, but I don't see this bike getting 20 miles on a charge and wouldn't trust it to go that far.Top speed was indicated at about 21.3mph using full throttle and even pedaling in low gear as fast as I could on flat-ground I could not exceed 22mph, so I will assume that is the top speed of the bike unless you're going down-hill.
We purchased the Jasion shortly after purchasing a 500 watt Ecotric that was about the same price. I'm glad that we were able to test them both out in real world experiences to see the differences. The Jasion, "J" is by far my favorite for several reasons but the Ecotric, "E" does have some advantages. Like the E has 4" tires and is definitely better in sand to the point that whoever was riding The J would sometimes need to get off and push in spots that the E could power through. The J however is far better in sooo many different areas. It accelerates a lot faster because the motor kicks in as soon as you start pedaling compared with the E that has about a 1 second lag. The suspension on the J is amazing, simply put. Going over railroad tracks, through gutters and on trails and rocky terrain this wins hands down over the E that uses only the tires for suspension. The J has a barrier between the tube and tire that has made a world of difference in not getting flats. My 14 year old son and I have driven these bikes for several hundred miles around our valley and mountain trails over the summer. (Which is another reason I'm glad I purchased 2 bikes. What a great experience.) The E picked up 3 flats from thorns this summer driving through the same areas as the J, which picked up thorns that didn't go through to the tube and didnt get any flats. Thats right! 750 miles with no flat tires. We can say that they both are terrible in snow. No surprise. Too slippery for only 2 wheels. The J is far better on slopes because you can throttle at the same time while pedaling and it muscles you up the slight hills you'll find while driving through the city's. They both suck at climbing the steep mountain hills, though the J does a little better at those as well. Now for the negatives. One of the reasons for choosing the Jasion was in March 2022 the top speed was advertised at 26mph.(now I see it's advertised at 20mph) The display says you're going 26 but your really only going about 22mph which is the real top speed. Disappointing. They were able to do this by setting the tire size in the on board computer to 22" instead of the 20" that it really is. I found out how to access that in the display and change it, now it reads accurately. Also the special screw that holds the left pedal on fell off and I lost it in the dark causing me to have to throttle the rest of the way to work. Purchased a new screw but now I need to tighten it constantly while riding because it wont stay tight. Lesson learned. These bikes do need a little tinkering all the time. Make sure bolts and screws are tight and know how to adjust/tighten the brakes. These are heavy bikes and we found that the brakes do need constant adjustment. It's easy to do and only takes a minute. We've used the folding feature many times to put it in our camping trailer and the back of our vehicles. But the location of the key has caused it to be bent by the pedal a few times during the process. I've learned to take the key out before folding. The seat wasn't horrible but wasn't the best. I've replaced it twice. It's hard to find comfortable seats for these. The positives out weigh the negatives to the point that I wish I would have purchased 2 of these instead of the Ecotric. While I do recommend this bike for the price. My next ebike will be one with a bigger motor that really can go 26mph + just to make it easier, and funner while driving in traffic.
