Below are some critical reviews about Kent International KZ2600 Suspension Mountain

Was expecting a little more. Pieces were assembled backwards, other parts broke while assembling. Just kind of disappointing.

Absolutely horrible. Arrives with back tire on. Both tires were so warped and bent it was obvious right away. The back tire (one that came pre installed) was flat out of the box. Tried to pump it and it won’t hold air. Will have to take it to get the tube replaced without ever using it. And pay to get the tires bent back to shape. Also, the front brake came completely clamped so I couldn’t even get the tire installed on the bike without having to completely disassemble the brake to get it apart so I could fit the tire disc between it to put it on. Just a very bad product, so mad I wasted my money. Only way to get a new one is to lug it off and pay to ship it back. Almost not even worth it because I absolutely do not want another one of these. Just a giant waste of money...DO NOT BUY!!

I assemmbled the bike. It was not tooo hard to put together. The crank stripped at the pedal within 6 months and Kent would not honor a replacement part due to the fact that I put it together. My son did use it for a while without issue. If the pedal was assembled incorrectly, we would have found out earlier. Nice looking bike, but over all, it is poor quality.

Below are some positive reviews about Kent International KZ2600 Suspension Mountain

I spent some time researching many mountain bikes in this price range and I have to say I am happy with my choice! I have been on several rides so far. A few were just around the neighborhood, but I have had a couple 10 plus milers and one actual extreme mountain bike trail ride for almost 8 miles. The duel suspension is unbelievable and is definitely a big upgrade from my previous bike. On other reviews, I read bigger guys were bottoming out the suspension. I’m 5’7”/135 lbs and have no issues. The front disk brake stops on a dime and are super quiet. The handlebars themselves are a comfortable shape and you feel super ready for any movements needed. I know it’s silly to say, but the colors are badass! However, I did some upgrades to the bike to make myself more comfortable. The stock seat is awful. I knew this was going to be an issue from reading the reviews on the same bike, but in the blue/grey color scheme. My previous bike seat was bought recently and so I swapped it out with my old one. I also bought new handlebar grips and bar ends. Having doing research and already knowing what makes a longer ride bearable, I ordered those when I ordered the bike. After a couple of rides, I quickly realized I needed a taller stem to raise the handlebars to a higher setting so my back isn’t totally bent over. I also have a smart phone holder on my handlebars. These are all things that make me more comfortable. If I am strictly rating the bike for it’s functionality, it’s high! I thankfully did not experience any of the issues some other customers had when assembling the bike. My neighbor and I put it together in about an hour and had no issues besides a couple tweaks to the rear suspension and adjustments to the hand brake placements. Sometimes when I’m gearing down from 21st gear to 18, the gear wants to stick, but generally it corrects itself. Could it be better? Probably so, but I’m not to worried about it.

I bought this bike on Amazon 14 months ago; I am very pleased with it. Today the odometer (add-on) hit 1108 miles. I have not had ANY breakdowns or repairs. Even no needed adjustments, except on day 1 adjusted the brakes, softened the rear spring, fine adjusted the front sprockets. Took 1 hour to unbox and assemble, going slowly. I oil the chain, gears, pedals, and hubs once a month. Good stopping with the front disc brake. At 1100 miles, it is finally time for 2 new tires. The seat was way too firm for my skinny back end so I replaced with a softer seat. Added bright lights, soft ergo handgrips, XOSS GPS speedometer/ heart rate / cadence, small mirror, and small fenders. I ride mostly on paved country roads with some offroad. I am going to buy this exact same model again for our 2nd house on the other coast.Good styling; I get compliments "that's a great looking bike" from other riders of bikes that cost 4X this one.Maybe this won't win offroad races, but for a daily driver, it does all I need.Lastly, with no real other excercise, in the year since I bought this bike and ride every 2 or 3 days, I lost 22 pounds. (male, 60s)

I was hesitant to buy this bike because at the time of purchase there were no reviews, and a similar model had a fair amount of bad reviews. It seemed like most of those reviews talked about difficult assembly and poor inner tubes. Nevertheless I took the plunge and bought it anyway, since it had the features I wanted for the amount I was willing to spend. After it arrived I took it to a local bike store and spent $65 to have the pros assemble it, and another $16 to replace the inner tubes. I’ve now spent less than $400 and I have a bike which is absolutely fantastic! It looks great, it’s got active suspension, front disc brakes, and it’s not overly heavy for an entry level bike. Granted I’ve only spent about 8 hours riding it so far, but as of now I’m VERY happy with it! If anything changes I will update my review, but for now it’s been a great purchase!
