This time, it stayed at 100% the whole ride. It was a mix of pedal assist and. Just accelerator mostly flat but a few smaller upslopes.I have raised my rating to 3 stars now. I will do another update after the next ride out!Dimension wise, this is the same size as my old battery and was easy to install. After fully charging it, ii went for a pedal assist ride and after just four miles... yes 4 miles, the battery was just above 50%.That means I can expect a range of 10-12 miles and its totally unacceptable!Incredibly disappointed and DO NOT recommend! (see update)
I can't use it. I need to return it.
Update 2: 10 days, a bunch of emails, some pictures and videos, some DIY soldering and a LOT OF PATIENCE putting the case back together, and the battery is charging again! WooHoo - Now it'll be raining by the time it's charged, or shortly after... so it'll be a while until I can fully test it, but I'm confident it's back on track now.UPDATE: the company is responding again by the time this review went live. They're sending some parts for me to repair it myself. (I'm ok with this, others may not be) - The parts will be a while because they have to come from China. They're also sending a new charger. Stay tuned...Original:I bought one of the 48v 12.4Ah from the YosePower eBay store and after about 130 miles only, it has malfunctioned and the company is taking their time offering support. Many hours between emails and dragging their feet instead of admitting it's broken. They had me open the case and replace a fuse that did NOT fix the problem and now they are just telling me to wait, because their technician is busy and they're in China time zone.The dang thing threw sparks from the charger port and burnt the tip of the included charger.I emailed the manufacturer directly and they said email the eBay seller. (it's the same company)Here I am, weather is finally nice enough to ride, and after a couple weeks of what seemed like a great cheap battery, it's turned into a $240 fire hazard of a paper weight that I might have to figure out to dispose of.Now I've got to spend the time I would have riding, on leaving bad reviews and trying to warn others.

Bought this to replace the lead acids in a razor e300 scooter. Big improvement for sure, way better battery life and made my scooter faster! Came with 3 out of 4 leds on battery indicator. Only downside is there's no power switch to turn on off power. Gotta wire up a power switch. Key ignition doesn't control the power, only locks & unlocks it. Battery charger is 42v 2a. Overall a beast product and cheap price.
When it is in a fully charge (40.6V) it shuts off after riding on about 2 mile on a flat road. The voltage output shows 24V. When charging it goes to 100% right quickly to 40.3V. It looks it like has bad cells and BMS shut it off. The battery is less than one year old and still under 2 years warranty. The manufacturer is in China.The upgrade the discharge sounds great but make it not interchangeable with batteries of other brands.The company did send me a replacement and I am happy about the resolution.I am waiting for replacement and will update once I receive one.
Easily installed on my Trek bike although I needed to drill 2 extra holes on the frame for mounting. It looks good and function as expected. As mentioned in the title, you would wish for an on/off switch on the battery itself. I decided to install one on the bike frame for a few extra dollars.
