Below are some critical reviews about HILAND Rockshark Electric Suspension RemovableI just received this bike. Love the look of it sleek and pretty!! However the battery is completely dead. Won’t even take a charge. The charger works fine and is lit up but for the price I just paid for this bike you would expect it to work! The bike took about one hour to assemble FYI.
First electric bike - great experience on it minus the issue with out-of-the-box installation.Everything assembled correctly except for the front brake caliper. It was either a design flaw in the mechanism or got dinged up during shipment. The front caliper wasn't aligned so when I squeezed the front brake there was no response.Glad I checked everything before riding but given the speeds the bike can reach in urban environments it could have been a major safety issue.Compared to regular bikes, the disc brakes that come with this bike have a longer stopping distance and that's something to keep in mind. I wish the bike came with some spare replacement parts especially when it arrives disassembled.I get about a full commute week out of one charge going about 4 miles total round trip. I ride usually on the highest or second highest assist setting. The gears work just like a regular bike and are fairly smooth if you have experience with bikes.I would purchase again.
When I got this bike I couldn’t get the front wheel on cause the factory put the nuts on the wheel so tight I couldn’t get them off to put the wheel on plus the right cable going to the brake no matter what way i put the handle baron the right cable went across the front wheel so the wheel rubbed

This e-bike arrived this morning and took less than an hour to set up. It really is mostly assembled and adjusted right out of the box. The bike is double boxed and the outer box has staples, glue AND tape holding it together (and all of the above on all the sides). The manual is 60 pages (all in good English with excellent pictures). For anyone interested, the weight without battery is 43 lb and with battery is 49 lb. Many e-bikes I looked at are 50-85 lbs and I was pleased that his one is manageable to lift. There is no easy place to mount a water bottle holder. I ordered a velcro attached soft bottle holder that I think will work between the handlebars and top of the front forks. The seat is not super comfortable (factory ones never are) and I ordered a nice $40 gel foam seat to retrofit. Performance - this is my first e-bike so I have no reference but it briskly accelerated my 207 lb body very well! I rode it 15 miles mostly with the throttle open and only lost one bar on battery level. The noise level from the motor and tires was very acceptable. I am very pleased with this purchase.
Fast bike. Tires are thin and puncture easily.
My husband bought me this bike for our vacation. I absolutely love it! So easy to ride. The speed is great! I can keep up with everyone. It sure makes going up hills a breeze. I love how I can use both my own leg power and the auto power together. The seat feels very comfortable too! We have visited Yosemite and Grand Canyon these past two months, I’ve had more people talk to me about this bike, it’s a very nice ride!
