Below are some positive reviews about Grin Technologies Mounting Downtube Batteries
For my aluminum Cannondale F1000 frame, the water bottle rivet nuts' spacing aligned to two recessed points on this bracket, but the bracket only came with one flat head screw for those flush mount points. The screws aren't pre-dipped in threadlock compound. For my Hailong Jumbo Shark enclosure, the mounting bracket has two accessible mounting slots that were not going to provide enough clearance, even with the maximum offset from this bracket. If you have one of those brackets, there are slots below the power cord compartment that you can use. Remove the three screws that hold the bracket. If you remove the power cord, note the orientation so you reassemble it correctly. Obviously, the slots are provided to allow more mounting options, but I hadn't seen accessing them described anywhere. My bike's downtube is tapered. I decided to use one hose clamp above the water bottle inserts, but I was careful to hold the band so that it's flat on the tubing (angled at the bracket notch), and I only snug-tightened the clamp. I put some appropriate-width heat shrink tubing over the band. before final installation.
The bracket is a lot easier than drilling the frame and setting hold down inserts. The radiator clamps look kind of funky, but do the job. More attractive clamps would have made the installation look a little classier.
