battery DOES NOT mount to bike as described. Would have to drill holes in the frame, which i am not willing to do. seller will not respond to return requests, customer service is non-existent.

i built an ebike and used this battery i could have bought another battery with twice the range for the same money...unfortunately i got sick before i was able to send it back...so i sold the bike...at least for the next build i know what not to do

Replaced original battery with this unit. Wanted more capacity. Had to slightly modify existing battery mount. To charge battery, switch must be on position. With battery installed same wiring as prior battery, and battery switch on with charger in place, Power is feeding the controller and wiring. I desired to be able to turn off battery power going to controller and such, using a handle bar switch (amazon) tied into positive (red), so as to cut off the power feed (red wire). When I park bike, will turn off handle bar switch and battery switch. And or remove battery, so someone don't mess with it. Think it makes a nice setup. Prodecotech never reply's to messages, so gave up and went this route.

I am very happy with this battery after riding 100 miles so far and paired with the Voilamart 1000 watt rear hub motor kit , this is my review :100 mile update on battery and motor ..... I've ridden this setup on a wide variety of conditions this week in everything ranging from relatively steep uphill and downhill terrain, to bike paths , to off road dirt and gravel , to jumping on sidewalks where tree roots have pushed the sidewalks up and created a ramp and honestly I couldn't be happier with the motor and the battery so far . Both are very strong and put out plenty of power with a lot of speed and range when you pair these together . This setup easily gets up to 30mph on a flat surface although I have gone 35 on a slight decline and even hit 40 mph on more of a downhill while leaning forward to cut through the wind. Today my bike ride was for sure over 30 miles at various speeds in all these conditions while also including pedaling and coasting as well as just full throttle and reaching top speeds on flat surfaces. This setup easily held at 20 mph going uphill while pedaling as well and I didnt have to pedal very hard at all and that was after over 90 minutes of being out riding already. If you're looking for an affordable solution to make your bike go faster , then for around $700.00 you will be very pleased with this setup , especially if this is your first build and you don't have a lot of ebike experience . I did extensive research when shopping around for a battery pack and I'm glad I settled on this one! Customer service was very helpful, even refunding me the $7.99 necessary to buy an adapter so that this pack would connect to my e-bike's controller. The short version: my pack was a big as I expected and has performed admirably so far. Read on for technical details.I can confirm that the capacity of the Samsung cell pack is pretty much spot on. I plugged the pack into my Kill-a-watt while charging from nearly empty and measured 740 Wh going into the pack, which is 644 Wh of net charge when accounting for the ~87% efficiency of the AC-DC converter. This is very close to the advertised capacity, so a checkmark in my book. On my 750W setup, this pack will provide about 40 miles if I take it easy and ride it until it's virtually dead. Even after running it hard, I noticed no excessive warmth in the battery pack, which is a good sign.The battery pack itself weighs 8.4 lbs (3.8 kg) in my case. Mounting into the water bottle holder slot was fairly easy, though I did have to modify the mounting bracket slightly to give enough space to get the battery on and off. It feels a bit wobbly when mounted like that, a consequence of the two mounting holes being so close together and far away from the upper end of the pack. You may want to add a piece of double-sided tape to the opposite end of the mounting bracket to help with this. The USB output works to charge my phone very slowly. It would be fine in a pinch.The charger that comes with it is alright, not great, not terrible. It is not very efficient, so it does heat up quite a bit (about 30C above ambient in my case). It draws up to 125W from a 120V outlet and takes about 7 hours to recharge fully. When recharging, I've noticed that the battery itself stays cool but the BMS tends to heat up noticeably.Although this was the single most expensive component on my bike, I would consider it worth the price and of good quality for other e-bikers out there. I recommend going with the Samsung cells if you can afford it, for the extra capacity and piece of mind. And if this is your first build, I recommend erring on the side of more battery capacity than you think you need.
