Below are some critical reviews about ECOTRIC Electric Bicycle Mountain ThrottleThe description says the battery can last up to 20 miles. I only get about 5 miles per charge, and that’s on mostly flat land.
My wife and I ordered a pair of bikes, one orange and one blue. They put the same tracking number on both items but shipped them separately. The tracking number that was provided arrived four days before the other one and I had to contact the seller to get the second number send to me. No one answers either of their phone numbers during business hours, they both go directly to voicemail. The bikes were easy to assemble and my wife and I have a lot of fun riding them. I took another star off because the orange bike didn’t come with the quick connect cam-lock hand for the front tire as shown on the listing. Contacted them again and was told they can send me the correct one when they have them again in 3-4 weeks. The orange bike also came with a different derailer guard that is too small and prevents shifting into the lowest gear, had to remove it to get the derailer to work properly and request the correct one be sent to me. Both derailers were way off from the factory and had to be adjusted significantly. The orange bike also had a bunch of scratches on the frame out of the box. Overall, an enjoyable riding experience but a lot of the details are wrong and the customer service isn’t great.Edit: they told me the rear derailer guard is only meant to protect it during shipping and must have “gotten bent” and that I should just remove it. It’s clearly installed to protect the derailer during riding and the instructions say nothing about removing it. It’s finished to match the frame and mounts to permanent holes. They simply used the wrong one and are trying to get out of replacing it.
3 times used and the control that active the battery no longer works. I do not know what to do.

First off, this is not a $3000 bike, so it shouldn't be judged that way. My only gripe was that they sent me a bolt instead of a front axle with a clamp. I complained about it and they sent me one (after telling me the bolt was an alternative... no it isn't). The seat is ok, but I bought a different one for a little more comfortable ride.I feel like the bionic man riding this around and it's a blast. I'm 5' 11" and this bike almost too big for me, but only when coming to a stop and having to hold it up. You need some mirrors (get the MICTUNING ones), fenders (FAT26S900USB-BL), a bag (Bag Bike Phone Case) and some lights (Ascher USB). This thing flies at 20MPH without peddling and peddling it around makes you want to use it.
Firstly, this bike is terrific! It is fast and grabs a lot of attention. The rims and the 4" fat tires are smooth but very loud. On pavement, I sound like a dive bomber from the last world War. Aside from that, the tires are great off road and have proven great on trails, just avoid thorns or get liners. The last point of note is this: no suspension. It's a hard tail with rigid front forks. This is fine for smooth roads, but the jolts and vibration really tax my arms. So, I installed an air fork and now it rides amazing! Since it is about 1/3 to 1/2 the price of most other ebikes, it is value packed. The pedal assist kicks in whenever I pedal, or if I am tired I can rest and use the throttle by itself. The onboard computer can be tweaked to increase the max speed from 20 mph to whatever your weight and topography will allow. I've had it up to almost 30 mph. Overall, it was the best purchase for me. I have new freedom to explore my world!
Extremely fast shipping, received in 3 days. (Will update review tomorrow after my first ride) Fairly easy to assemble, ( about 30 minutes and comes with tools needed ) I had a hiccup with the left peddle, it screws in counter clockwise... Battery charged in 5 hours so it's too late to ride tonight. The bike is big, anyone under 5' 10" ( as mentioned in other reviews ) will have trouble getting on and off this monster. This is a heavy duty bike and looks like a Beast with the fat tires. Can't wait to ride it in the morning. Update about ride and handling tomorrow. **Update** First ride was a blast, 5 miles on electric with very little peddling. Hit 25 mph on a flat surface but most of the time 23 was the top using electric only, in 7th gear and speed setting on 5. I'm 230lbs so it struggled on a steep incline. Seat is a little on the hard side so I bought a cover that's gel padded. Overall I'm very happy with this bike and heading out again to cruise the neighborhood. Highly recommend seller, E-Go Bike LLC. Thought I had a problem with the left peddle and contacted them, they responded in a short time, great customer service.
