Discussing my issues on the phone was a challenge. I don’t know if the guy understood what I was say so I sent them an email and a text yesterday morning but no one has responded. I like the bike but support needs much improvement. Therefore I’m changing my rating as well.The bike is very well made considering the price point. It's what I was looking for minus the weight of it.. very heavy, however the support doesn't seem to exist. The manual lists both an email and phone number and I've sent and left messages but no one has returned my call. I don't know if the company sold to another company but I'm having an issue and need to speak to someone.
After five or six business days still waiting for a return authorization. The vendor did reply once sizing he would offer a $100 discount but I do not need the bike. The bike was delayed two different times (over a week delayed) and it was for my grand daughters birthday that came and went. I ended up buying another e-bike from a local vendor and I do not need it. Again waiting on a return authorization, I hope this can be resolved with the vendor but at this point I am having concerns. There is no rating at this time, the product, the SOHOO e-bike is of quality and beautiful.
Seat broke only using it a month after it got delivered probably only got to ride for a full 2 or 3 weeks. Very unhappy because now the seat hurts to sit on. I definitely want a new seat but I’m not paying for it.

I ordered this bike from Amazon for my 12 year old daughter to ride to school. She has a big hill to climb and thought that the pedal assist would be helpful in getting her to even want to ride to school, much less doing it. I have a higher quality and more expensive e-bike but did not want to pay as much for one for a soon to be teenager as we all know how kids tend to treat their items. Anyway, I decided on this particular model because of the “lighter” aluminum frame as opposed to the steel frames and the middle of the road pricing, not too cheap and not too expensive. Unfortunately due to the covid pandemic there was a delay in the shipping of the white e-bikes. The seller called us to let us know and offered another color. My daughter really wanted the white one so we said we would wait. Seller told us it would take about 10 more days to arrive, so we waited. When it finally arrived I got a call from the seller once again to let us know that it was here and that it would arrive to us fully assembled the next day. We were expecting it to to be unassembled so I was was very happy to hear that it would be coming already assembled. The next day the seller called and asked if he could come deliver it personally! Wow!! What a great surprise! Later that evening a van showed up with the white bike, fully assembled. We even got a quick lesson on how to use and ride. The quality is very similar to my Electric Bike Company e-bike as well (for half the price) so I’m very impressed. My daughter loves her new ride to school and so do I! E-bikes are not something that the average person purchases on a daily basis, however if I ever need to buy another one I will definitely buy from this seller. And I know that if something were to happen to it the customer service would back it up. We are very happy!!
This is my first electric bike. I shopped around a lot before I made my decision. It was easy to assemble and most important was it fit me well, which was my main concern. Frame size is the most important feature of a bike and no one post frame size. My son in law bought an electric mountain bike and it was listed as a 26 inch, which is wheel size. He looked like a monkey on a tricycle it was so small. I am 6 ft and weigh 210 lbs. I got the step through because of my back issue. I ride it a lot. The tires are great and I got it to 26 MPH one day. 22-24 MPH is a breeze. I have not traveled over 10 miles, but it is a blast to ride. Very solid and heavier than I thought, which was fine. I think this bike is perfect for a tall woman. 5'7" to 6' 2" for and older guy with back problems are any problem that stops you from comfortably lifting your leg over the seat. I got the red color and it is really a great red color that stands out. Not fire engine red, a candy apple glossy red. I have had a lot of compliments on the color. My son in law ended up with a fat wheel bike with a 21 inch frame. It looks like a locomotive coming down the street. After all of my research, I am very happy with mine. Kind of a Goldie Locks story, just right. This bike is perfect for someone 5' 7" to 6' 2" tall. As far as how it compares to other electric bikes, I really do not know, but recommend the distributor lives in the US and has been in business for a while. Now that I have one, I see them everywhere, lol. Mine looks the best...I thought red was a little risky, but no problem picking it out in a sea of black ones. Even if you have owned regular bikes like most of us have, this is really different. You feel so in control and free. Bottom line is it is really fun to ride. I now have 230 miles under my belt. No problems.
My husband and I ordered 1 for each of us as a Christmas gift. We have only taken them out once so far (winter) but they ran like a charm. So easy to ride. I love the large digital display. They are hefty and look really durable with large fat tires. Great for the mountains and hills where we live. They have a lot more power than what we were expecting. Can't wait for warmer weather to get out and do some serious riding. The manual is not the best written but it will get you through the basics.
