Below are some critical reviews about Outroad Mountain Speed Commuter BicycleWell the bike itself is pretty dang good. It’s got a good solid frame, good front shocks, good tires, nice rims (even though the detail you see is poorly put on stickers), the seat is ok, not super comfortable but that is expected with most sports bikes. The disc brakes are great.Now for the downsides:When I was putting the bike together the front fork had been installed backwards, which was funny because there is even a sticker on it that tells you which side is the front, it was an easy fix. What really bothers me about the bike though is the gear shifters, which is half the bike experience. The shifters are the cheapest you will ever find, and it they’ve got me scratching my head because I can’t seem to fix the tension on them. Shifting in one direction is all too easy, and shifting in the other is like pulling teeth. I tried loosening the cables, but if you do that it won’t go to the top gears. Also something that bugs me is the shifters don’t have numbers, nor is there any way that shifting makes sense. You go up 6 clicks with no response, not even shifting one gear. I’m trying to see if I can fix it by adjusting the derailleurs but still haven’t figured it out yet. Also I’m not sure the derailleur screws actually move the derailleur that much, I have to turn it a lot just to see a little change
Had to comeback and leave a review after literally one bike ride the bikes crank is stripped. So it cannot be used again until a trip to the bike shop. I since bought a gt aggressor for the extra few dollars so much better than this piece of crap! Dont waste your money!!!!
Forget about using the instructions since many of the words don't go together. Just look at the pictures. At least they make sense. Got the bike out mother and noticed the rear derailleur was hitting the spokes. Looked like it was bent. Sent email with pictures to the email provided. 3 days and still no response. Sent a follow-up email and called. Still no response. Looked at it again and realized the frame was bent where the derailleur attached so I fixed it myself. Put air in the tires to ride. Climbed on and the front tire blew the bead and inner tube popped. I underinflated the tires by 5 pounds. If you are able to and don't mind working on a bike you may be fine with this. If not, this bike may not be for you. Customer service is horrible.

Baddest bike I have ever seen! I got this for my son and he actually keeps it inside instead of the garage lol! It’s really cool just to look at its bad to the bone bad bad bad as in awesome looking love the red, black, & white color scheme! Son loves it! He’s 17 and 6’ tall 190 pounds
The bike arrived in just one week, which is impressive shipping time for a mountain bike. It comes 85% assembled, and the remaining assembly took just 30 minutes with the help of my 13 year old son. It comes with alll the tools needed to complete assembly.What's most impressive is that the gear shifters and disc brakes worked perfectly right out of the box----did not need to make any adjustments! We attached the front wheel, handlebars, and seat, and my son was taking it for a test ride within 30 minutes.Very stylish and the build seems tough and rugged. Would highly recommend for a teen or young adult!
I love to look at this bike and overall, I'm probably getting a good deal for the price.The fit on a few of the parts was a bit off, but mostly it went together smoothly. I had the most trouble getting the brakes adjusted correctly (rubbed the disk with not properly aligned) but eventually got the bolts loose and was able to adjust the position of the assembly. Now the wheels spin beautifully.We've only had it for a about a week, so time will tell, but so far, I'm very pleased with the purchase.
