I am A HUGE AMAZON REVIEWER AND A 5 star trip advisor reviews!I will always go beyond and above if I have to brag about a product! I have researched electric bikes for six months, was ready to buy trek , pedigo specialty or top notch! ThoughT I would try this bike! CRAP IT WILL NOT GO ANSPEED WITHOUT ASSISTANCE. I WANT A WORK OUT AND ASSISTANCE WHEN I NEED but it kicks in fast when I don’t need it ! I want a different bike that will give me assistance only when I want ! This bike will take offwithout you which is scary! Please take this cute bike back and it’s horrible cheap plastic silly basket
Almost two months later and I still haven't been able to ride this. The nightmare continues!!! If you buy, DO NOT spend the money to have a local vendor do the set up!!!! Had to take the whole back end apart and now I have to take the front end apart including the brakes because nothing is lined up right. Both wheels were rubbing on the frame and I had to make several trips to the hardware to replace missing hardware!! I’d like to tell you how it rides but at this point I just regret the entire purchase!!!!
Good price, fast delivery, but be very aware this bike needs a lot of adjustments to ride it safetly.Brakes are terrible had to replace front v brakes after first ride.I set this bike up for my Granddaughter and she loves it.Customer service is non existance as I called and e mail them several times to get replacement parts.Gave up and ordered parts from amazon and all is well now.Nice bike for the money after set up properely.

The bike is very nicely made. Ours came with a chip in the paint. The manufacturer doesn't provide touch up paint, only a color code. The paint is Chinese obviously and I wasn't able to find or buy anything so be aware of that. Assembly on this bike was more involved than the men's 26" camel I bought for myself. But if you've ever had a bicycle as a kid it's pretty straight forward. The pedal assist system (PAS) is either full speed or off, there's no control over that, which my wife found dangerous. Moreover you cannot disable the PAS and still use the throttle. You either turn the bike completely off and ride it as a bicycle or you have to contend with the PAS giving you a blast of full throttle as you start to pedal. The 26" bike turned out to be too tall for my 5'-2" wife and along with the PAS she was not able to control the bike safely. We decided to take advantage of the 30-day return guarantee and send the bike back. This is where the nightmare started. Even though I bought this through Amazon for some reason I was forced to deal directly with the Chinese manufacturer for a return authorization. After 2-3 days of emails I obtained a shipping label from the company, however I had to pay for shipping for the return. The problem is I had already thrown away the box. I called Amazon to ask why I couldn't just take the bike to Kohl's for boxing and shipping like any other return I had made. I received some mumbo-jumbo about third party vendors that I didn't understand. My purchase was through Amazon and my refund would be from Amazon. As far as I was concerned I shouldn't even be talking to the Chinese manufacturer. Otherwise what value was added going through Amazon for the purchase? I didn't have my original shipping box and bicycle boxes aren't exactly a common item. After contacting Amazon twice and getting nowhere I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor "Shawn" was very nice. She offered to reimburse my costs for professional packing through UPS. My local UPS dealer did offer a packing service at a very reasonable price. I took the bike there and dropped it off. I was reimbursed from Amazon for the packing immediately. This is the service I expect. I am now just waiting for the bike to get to the company's warehouse and obtain my refund. If all that goes as planned it will culminate a very frustrating two-week long return process, but one that at least went in my favor. The manufacturer honored their return policy and Amazon stepped up to the plate to pay for professional packaging - albeit after some complaining to management on my part. Word to the wise: don't toss your original shipping box until you're sure you're keeping the product. And again this bike needs the ability to turn off the PAS and still have gradual throttle or provide some other type of control for the PAS. All on or all off is dangerous for some riders.
My wife really is enjoying riding the nakto classic electric bike. I'd say that the average distance on pedal assist is about 25 miles.
I bought this bike (Nakto Classic model) to commute the two miles over hilly terrain to university, in lieu of the forty-minute bus ride (ridiculous, I know). Had it shipped to my house as the description said I should be able to assemble it myself, which may have been true if it had been packed with the correct tools and some of the preattached hardware had not been screwed in so tight that I was unable to loosen it by hand. I ended up taking it to a local bike shop after attaching the front wheel; they attached the front fender and front basket rack, secured the handlebars, and adjusted the front brakes. This cost about $80, but given that this ebike is c. half the price of the next available model, I wasn't too phased. It is also reassuring to know that most of it was assembled by professionals. If I could do over, I would have had it shipped to the bike shop initially for assembly, which according to their website costs $200, but it would have saved me a lot of frustration and having to walk the partially assembled contraption a mile uphill into town. I did email the company while I was still attempting at-home assembly for instructions; they sent me a link to a particularly unhelpful YouTube video. The company does have some clear and helpful videos for their other models though.That being said, now that it is assembled, I have ridden it several times between campus and home and I love it. Having the electric motor and throttle really helps with acceleration, particularly since a lot of my commute is stop-and-go with traffic lights, stop signs, etc. For being so affordable, I'm not terribly upset about the assembly difficulties since it operates very well and has so far proven reliable. I don't own a car (don't even have a license) so I'm depending on the bike for my main mode of transportation for the foreseeable future; thankfully the area where I live has several bike shops should I need any more work done on it.
