Excellent packaging which fully protects the bike.Good instructions written in true English with plenty of pictures.Handlebar shifters operate cleanly but read below for the rest of the story.Bad:The lightweight frame is offset by the heavy steel front fork/suspension assembly. Probably adds another 5 lbs and throws off weight distribution.The wheels need to be trued. This affects tracking.The front derailleur doesn't have a wide enough "throw" to fully engage the largest front drive sprocket. It doesn't matter how skilled you are at front derailleur adjustments, you will never get it to consistently engage all three sprockets. You can settle for your two favorite sprockets but not all three.Conclusion:I'm not a mountain biker. For causal riding, this bike is good enough for the price. There is enough seat adjustment to accommodate my 6' frame. It's lighter than a steel frame bike and gives a solid feel ride on pavement. It could also be a good start to building a better bike with a new front fork and front derailleur.

It's a good rim and well built. I bought it to switch out the hubs and use it for my Schwinn Meridian26" which is damn near impossible to find and overpriced when you do.I payed $50. each and by doing it this way saved $50 each.
