Below are some critical reviews about ANCHEER Folding Electric Bicycle WaterproofWe bought the $359 Ancheer 350w (without app) We did not buy the one Amazon pictured above. The intention was to get a more powerful motor than the 250w motor (Jetson Bolt) that I had which was fine for me, but not for my husband. It was practically identical to this Ancheer model except for a second brake and the stronger advertised hub motor at 350w. The manual listed this bike at 350w, so it must be true, right? I weighed in at 135lbs and he was 180lbs. These were our first electric bikes. Upon testing, we could not find any difference in power or performance between the two which was disappointing.Recently, we purchased a 3rd electric bike (Bolt Pro 350w with pedal assist) and discovered that the serial on the hub motor clearly showed it was a 350w. When we looked at the Ancheer hub motor serial number, it indicated only 250w. It was not the advertised power rating we thought we were buying and will report to Amazon. So, look for the three numbers followed by the "w" about midway through the serial number string on the hub motor. We would have acted sooner, but we just did not know what to look for being new to this electric bike business. As a note: when we first received this bike, the battery housing needed to be replaced (over torqued screws in plastic). Ancheer sent us a new casing and my husband was able to change it out himself fortunately. So that is another thing to look out for. And buy spare inner tubes. You will need them. All this being said, Have fun on these things. On flat surfaces, it just zips along. Just be prepared to duck walk on inclines especially if you are more than 150lbs.It is my hope that the "Yobido" storefront selling this model will look into this issue and do the right thing. I will re-review if they replace our Ancheer folding electric bike for the advertised model that we should have received. Otherwise, it is buyer beware as usual. I hope this helped.
The seat is exactly over the rear axle, so if you go over a bump the front wheel lifts off the ground and you get thrown off the back.Too small for an adult,I had a big fight with my Son who wanted it, but considered it a danger and it went in the GARBAGE total waste of money. Made in China go figure ?
Bought this for my son today for Xmas. All charged up and ready to go. Bike would move. Realizee after trouble shooting, the cable was gear shift cable was broken out of the box. So disappointing. He was so excited and so disappointed.

I live with my daughter and wanted something to ride around the neighborhood on. This bike has been great for that. So, far I haven’t had any trouble from it. There is a App that you can download for the bike so you can lock it. The instructions for the App wasn’t very informative. So, I emailed the sell and ask about it and she sent me some better directions. I bought a 2 yr warranty with it. I would suggest to ride it on flat surfaces and I wouldn’t go over bumps very fast. I always stop at the end of my driveway and go over the edge slow.
**EDIT** THE BIKE I PURCHASED WAS NOT APP ENABLED. EMAILED THE COMPANY AND THEY SAID "THE ONE YOU BOUGHT WASN'T ADVERTISED AS APP ENABLED"... UMM?? YES IT WAS?? ^^^^^^This bike is a lot of fun to ride, but the only way to go faster is through the APP. Can someone please help me with that? I downloaded the DYU APP (which is supposed to work) but it won't connect to my bike. It doesn't even show up in the APP! So frustrating...Other than that it came early and in great condition.*EDIT* The battery started failing after a month of use..
So this product is AWESOME! I do not drive so it'll be my 'get around'. It ead 99% put together ana I with zero capability, find shed it. Thought you had to turn the switch but someone pushed it and it came on, tank full! I'm just got back from my first ride. Let me tell you, it was so fun and I'm 49 yr old female! (In Florida so no snow,). It felt solidid with power but not scary! Plus at 5 ft 2" I could actually reach the ground as opposed to a regular size bike. I went to a store about a mile n a half away and it took no time. I even walked in the store with it although I had a lick and due to its size, nobody said a word. Also the shipping was mad quick. My date was the 8th thru 13th and it showed up the 7th and seller was really responsive with a question I had. Id say so far, it'd a great deal!
