Below are some critical reviews about Hyper Shocker 18 Speed Model OPP 152601What a POS. 2 months in and on a bike ride with my kids the rear chain shifter just snaps off. Had to walk miles back to the car. This should never happen to a bike and it did on this NEW bike.
I do not recommend this product because it has several defects in just two weeks of use. On its first day of use the speed changer broke, soon after the tire tube broke then the chain broke too. obviously I bought the intention to use, but until the present moment I could not and I spent almost the value of the bike in a week.
The bike arrived with a few bent parts.

The bike is very good. Rides nicely, gears shift well and it is comfortable with the flat seat I switched to. However, all of the parts didn't come with the bike, and the decals were damaged, which didn't seem to be a result of shipping. I had to call their customer service twice to get the missing parts, that included pedals.
Bought this to transform to an electric ebike. Works well for the price. Made slight adjustments to the brakes but brakes work well. Dual suspension does good on absorbing bumps making it smoother on gravel & trails. I had a murtisol bike before and that was a piece of junk since day 1. Had another one of these hyper shockers and also worked quite well. Will buy again.
I don't drive because of my Disability. This is my fourth Hyper 26 inch... I ride my Hyper bikes a couple of years each which totals a couple Thousands miles on their usage... So these Mountain bikes are very strong an good for everyday usage to get around on...
