Bike ok. For the money. But had problems with brakes.

Ordered one from Framed Website and paid Framed for assembly it was a scam . Bike came just as it does from the manufacturer . On the website it says tighten handlebars , install the front wheel and ride. Bars had to be installed, Seat had to be installed Pedals had to be installed , reflectors had to be installed .then called customer service and was told maybe the website is a little misleading but no refund. I had to pay $80 additional to a local bike store to get it assembled .

My husband wanted a bmx style bike to ride with the kids because he is “too cool for a cruiser 😂” This was one of the only ones we could find in his size that wasn’t $900+, he loves the bike and has actually gotten compliments from other dads 😂 overall super sturdy and rides well. I should also mention he is 6’ and 165lbs

Let me start by stating I believe the Framed Twenty9er is well built. I have been riding BMX bikes 35 years. I’m 45 years old, 6 feet tall and 195 lbs (i’m a Virgo, blue eyes and love long walks on the beach 😂). Ok seriously, the twenty9er is built to withstand the size and weight of a grown man. However the pedals aren’t great, they make the bike feel cheap. The pedals creak and flex which makes it sound like there is something wrong with the crank. The cheap pedals take the joy out of riding the bike. I may have just gotten bad pedals but experience tells me they are just cheap. It’s a shame really because if you don’t have experience with bikes it could give you the perception that entire bike is cheaply made which is not the case.Lastly, this is not the bikes fault nor the manufacture. I believe the Twenty9er is perfect size for cruising around. If you’re looking to hop curbs, maybe take a jump or man handle the bike you may want to consider a size smaller. I wish I did.All in all a great bike, great value.

Much higher quality than anticipated!!Very good for the $$$!My 13 year old had it assembled by himself in about an hour! He love the bike.
