Below are some critical reviews about Elite Bicycle Destro Model FreestyleI purchased this bike after the high reviews and thought it was a great value. Immediately after arriving I assembled the bike (have done 3 prior bike builds). Immediately there was an issue with rubbing on the back tire. This was significant enough to completely stop a free spinning wheel. On closer inspection there was a moderate misalignment between the back tire and frame. The rear tire was very off center. So disappointing. The plastic is still on the tires and it is not able to be ridden. Now I have to figure out how to get the bike back in the box.I was expecting better.
Should have known it was a bad omen when the destro sticker was smeared on the bike on arrival. My son got the bike I never had, it’s is suppose to be a BMX the last the test of time. Unfortunately the bike did not even last three months. The gears from the hub bled its bearings and the gears stripped out. Pissed it wasn’t what I expected.
Looked like a forklift punctured the box, it bent the crank sprocket and it has to replaced. I emailed seller and they said they would contact the manufacturer but I never heard anything back. I bought the bike for $330 and spent another $100 to make it work(bent rim- misaligned brake and bent sprocket + labor). Also the seat is fixed so it smashes your private areas as you ride, that will be the next fix. I would not recommend this bike to anyone

I bought this bike for my son for his birthday and he loves is. It was easy to assemble and it seems to be a good quality bike.

The bike arrived fast and assembly was very easy. The copper color was very cool and paired with the gold tires makes for a very badass bike
