Below are some critical reviews about Co Well Electric Bicycles Triangle MountainI rec'd the product and other than snafu with UPS it arrived relatively quickly. After assembling the rest of the components for the bike, charged the battery for 8 hours (as recommended) and saw the battery was only charged to 80%. Continued to let it charge another 8 hours, and still at only 80%. If this is the Baseline for the unit, I do expect to return for one that charges fully

I was a little worried that it wouldn't fit my bike but there was enough room and I didn't even have to take off my other battery's mount. I got this for my Bafang BBS02B mid-drive motor conversion kit. That motor is marketed as 48V but I checked and double checked that this 52V battery will work on this motor and it hasn't had any problems with the 52 volts. I've been using it for about a month now and I'm really amazed at how much farther I can travel with it compared to the 48V 17.5mAh battery that came with the motor. I also have a shark style 52V 17.5mAh battery but its range is noticeably shorter. I wish I could give you actual miles traveled but I live in a very hilly area, I'm sometimes pedal intensive, sometimes throttle heavy, and I'm bad at distance estimations. Besides, the lowest I've drained it is to 70% and that was a few day's worth of riding. The best I can say is that I think I could ride it for 4-5 hours. (It doesn't help that e-bike battery indicators are notoriously fickle and imprecise.)The only real disadvantage this battery has compared to my other ones is there is no way to lock it to my bike. I am less apprehensive about leaving it outside while I do my shopping than when I first got it but I mostly use this battery for longer, recreational riding than errands or shopping. This battery has greatly increased my range and I am very happy with it so far. I've even thought about getting another one to take on camping/fishing excursions that would allow me greater autonomy. The price wasn't cheap but it was competitive with similar batteries on the market.The charger gets really hot when charging - more so than my other chargers. It worried me enough that I emailed the seller who quickly replied to my concerns. I was told that it is normal for the charger to get quite hot when working but just for my own piece of mind I charge it on my stove so the burner can work as a heat sink and to keep it away from combustibles.All-in-all it was a good buy and I would highly recommend this battery if you've got the money and need/want the extra range.
Very good 52volt battery- i have over 1000 miles on my ebike kit and still charges over 59volts each time. Too bad that my 1000watt kit cuts out at 46volts- but good move that i bought a 52volt battery- more miles to ride and fun between charges!! The only down side is mine did not come with a shutoff switch- so i have to unplug the battery from the controller when not in use and the charger takes a long time to charge up the battery- almost an hour a volt. I wish they had a faster charger! Also the charger gets very hot!!!! So make sure you don't have it near anything flammable or vapors!!!! Now i see that they have one on line that does have a turnoff switch and a cell phone charging port for the same price!! Oh WELL !! I bought one too soon!!Over all great battery!!! Also came with velcro to fasten to your frame- I used double heavyduty zipties all around instead!!!! Much stronger support!!!!
Excellent battery.If I keep the speed below 20 mph,I can get 50 miles out of it.Top speed 36 mph with 1500 watt hub motor.I wish it has a loop or a way to lick it.I epoxied a D ring to the battery to run a cable through.Great battery.No complaints.
