Reviews

Below are some critical reviews about ROUTE1 Raleigh Bikes Route

So I have only had the bike out once. It rode nice. Did road to gravel trail to road to wooded trail and it performed nicely. Good in the different environments. Caution needed in mud, wider tires good on trail but not a mountain bike tire, a little bit of traction issues in the mud (just rained here). Needed almost no adjustment out of the box. Assembly was relatively easy. Needed Allen keys for tightening, not in box.So far my only complaint was getting the bike. First order shipped almost immediately, got close in a couple of days and then never went further. After 10 days in shipping cycle I was told it was lose or stolen. Offered a refund, opted, obviously for a replacement. Had to wait but it shipped sooner than expected and got misdirected again but eventually arrived. Had to wait 4 weeks after it originally shipped. Would think twice about ordering a big item again, Probably buy locally even if I have to pay a little extra. Lost a month of ride time.Let you know how it holds up.

This bike is awesome, first time buying a bike that was expensive and thanks to Amazon's option to pay monthly I was able to get it. Brown color is amazing in person, first time having disk brakes and will never go back. I'm 6ft 230lbs and the large fits me great. Only thing I had to do was buy two extensions for the handle bars, got a bad lower back and can't bend down like that for long periods of time. With the handlebars raised up and I also bought a new seat, I will get 10-15 miles easy and feel great. No back pain, bigger seat so no butt pain. Pay attention though, this has the presto valves for the tubes. I didn't know and had to run and grabs a pump from the store

I bought this bike about two months ago together with a companion bike for when guests visit me. I had mine assembled by a local bike shop as I am not in the least handy. The bike shop did a great job and I am liking my Raleigh Route 1 bike a great deal. I take it out every day for about an hour. Shifting is extremely easy, the ride is a good one and the bike is good looking. If I had it to do over again I would definitely buy this bike once again. My guests also like the guest bike :-).
