Reviews

Below are some critical reviews about Raleigh Bikes Womens Circa Comfort

Self assembly threw me off at first. I thought I was doing it wrong. Then, after tracking proper video on youtube, realized it was NOT me. A "noodle" for the front break was missing from the package. Brake cable cannot really be attached without it to the front brakes. While attaching front wheel and pedal noticed the spin stops almost immediately on pedals and very early on the front wheel. I spent a lot of time dealing with ball bearings in my life (in-line skates, skate boards etc) and know the feel of especially crappy set of ball bearings. This (my) bike has these on front wheel and pedals. Your kid will need to pedal especially hard to overcome this. After an hour trip my girl complained about rush / blister on her legs near shorts line. The sit is definitely shaped for a female, but is slanted is such a way that my girl would constantly slide a bit, has to adjust her position all the time.Hey @customer_support ! Could you send me missing front brake noodle please?!It feels like I will need to get a separate set of ball bearing for the front wheel (not sure if I can change them for the pedals), a better set of pedals and a separate sit. After all that, feel like I just should have paid some 50-60 more and get another bike... Too bad I had no choice there, as kid liked the color.

Nice bike and easy to assemble. I got it for my wife and she likes it. It really should have come with a kickstand, though. Dock a star for that.

Beautiful bike ! This is the 2nd Raleigh bike I’ve purchased this Christmas. The first had no instructions to assemble. I thought it might have been on oversight. But now that I’m trying to assemble the second one and I see that it has no assembly instructions either it seems to be intentional. If Raleigh wants to market direct to consumer they should invest in and create detailed assembly instructions. I am a pretty good mechanic with years of bike riding and bike maintenance so I’ll figure it out. If you don’t have that background take the bike to a good bike shop and have them set it up. Honestly I don’t understand not including any assembly instructions. As I said great looking bike and quality material for the price but Raleigh gets a 2 star for customer service because of the packaging and lack of instructions.
