Reviews
Below are some critical reviews about Raleigh Bicycles Detour Comfort HybridThis bike was great right from the start. It took about 40 minutes to unpack it and put it together. It has been easy to adjust as it gets broken in. I live in a city with a lot of hills. This Raleigh is not too heavy for a hybrid bike and the 24 speeds make riding up and down hills possible. It is my "daily driver" so it goes shopping or out to lunch, just about anywhere I need to go. It has a comfortable ride for city streets and feels really good on smooth pavement. I'm 65 and plan on riding for a long time. Good buy!James
It's very expensive but made of good quality materials and parts fit and finish is great. Very light weight and sturdy. Has too many gears to even use but nice to have if needed. Doesn't come with a kick stand which is ridiculous at this price, but that's about my only beef about it.
Great bike for big men! MFG's specs up to 350 lbs. I'm 6'4", 372 lbs. and bike has performed commendably for 12 miles ridden. Should be under 350 in no time.
