Below are some critical reviews about NAKTO Electric Brushless Removable WaterproofI got this bike at the end of May. I loved it! So fun! It just really made me smile. I rode it every chance I could.On July 4 I rode the bike. When I was through, I charged the battery and put the bike away in the shed. The next day, the motor didn't work.I have tried to work with the seller. I the bike checked by a repairman. I cannot get it fixed.Now, when asked for a refund, the seller said I had to ship them the bike in the original packaging before they will return my money! Who keeps a huge cardboard box for 6 weeks??I am so upset! I feel cheated . I hope Amazon customer service steps in to help. Because this seller does not seem like they are going to make things right.
Purchase this bike in June 2019 and had to immediately return it for a full refund. Bike arrived with several parts missing and damage. It appeared to me that the bike I received was a return from someone else and then shipped to me as a new bike. It was clear the bike had been ridden before. Parts that were missing were the front basket and hardware and some of the tools that come in the assembly tool kit. The damage was all over the bike. Rear fender was bent with a deep dent behind/under rear rack. The frame had numerous large paint chips and areas where the sprayed paint didnt even cover the steel frame. The front wheel was bent/warped and constantly rubbed the front brake pads. The rear tire arrive flat and would not hold air.....inner tube had a hole. The quality of this bike is horrible.Customer service was good and I quickly return the bike to the distributor. The full refund was given once they received the bike back.....took about 2 weeks.I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing this bike. I will attach pics of some of the damage.
So far I am honestly so mad. Came with zero instructions had to look up youtube videos and who ever assembled this tighted the brackets for rhe headlights so hard, I cannot atach my front fender and now I have a 700 bike sitting here doing nothing. The bike is missing the basket, gloves, and bike lock. BEYOND DISSATISFIED RN.

I have three ebikes, and this bike is the same price as one of my batteries from Luna cycle. I have not yet opened the battery case to look at the battery cells. There is no indication on the battery on the type of cells inside, also not UL certified. I would be careful charging this battery unsupervised, as these unmarked batteries are most likely cheaper Chinese 18650 cells. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby and do not charge next to gas or combustible material.The bike itself is equivalent to a Walmart bike with the cheapest possible components. The headlight will not stay upright. I noticed a lot plinking sounds coming from the rear wheel. Upon inspection the rear spokes we're loose and needed tensioning. However it works.During one charge I estimated about 7 miles of range with the throttle wide open going up hills. Another charge the bike went 12 miles and 16 miles with moderate pedeling and still had all three lights indicating a full charge. So with pedaling, range could be sufficient.18 miles an hour is possible with moderate pedaling on flat ground. This bike motor seems to be built for speed and less for torque. This bike will struggle up steep hills without pedel assistance from the rider.The bike is very heavy and tough to stop, ederly might have trouble with the weight especially with loading onto vehicles. This bike will be tough to load on top post only bike racks. Top post adapters might not work due the weight of the bike.Overall if you want to have an ebike for occasional rides, this bike will work. However the durability of this bike is going to be the question over the long haul. I suspect that these batteries are not top of the line and will start to fail within 6 to 24 months. Sonders ebike that will cost $700 shipped that will be a better option if you are looking for the next level up. I give it a 4 out 5 stars for now as it exceeded my expectations, based on the price point.Edit - March 2018 - Bike is still working like new. Riding 1-3 times a Month. Best value for the money for an entry level ebike. No issues so far. Batteries are still going great. Might have to upgrade my ratings based on value. Also Sonders has raised their prices on their bikes. I will post an update if this bike breaks.
This bicycle is a very good value, since it can be used in either manual or electric mode. Both the handlebar and seat height and inclination are adjustable. The assembly and use instructions are unclear since they refer to other configurations than I have. The assembly instructions are also unclear, but the assembly itself is very intuitive for those with a modicum of mechanical skill. My bicycle came without the basket shown and also had a defective front wheel. The company was amazingly responsive and overnight-ed the missing and defective parts; their customer service was outstanding. After assembly and a little trial and error, I managed to figure out the functions and use of all the controls. In the manual mode the bike acts like any other six speed, there is a little red button that switches between manual and electric with each push. The electric mode is used either with the handlebar twist throttle or by peddling which activates it. The pedal brings the bike up to full speed while peddling slightly and with the throttle the speed is adjustable. I am very happy with my purchase.
Great bike, especially for the price. After a few minor glitches, but working with an excellent customer service rep from Amazon, Gregg, we received the bike (basket had to be shipped later, it didn't come with it originally but all worked out well). I've used this several times, speed reaches 25 mph, powerful bike, can't believe the price. Easy to handle, I have no problems whatsoever with the kickstand but if it has to be physically carried, I let my husband do it, but as for getting it off the kickstand or back on, I have no issues. The only thing I didn't like was the seat, I found it to be uncomfortable so switched seats and bought a great sheepskin cover on Amazon for it. I don't know how long the charge will last, I've only used it a few miles at a time but no loss of power even going up a slight hill. Love the bike!! It's fun, and I love when you use pedal assist the motor kicks on. We did paint the basket white and added a ribbon! Wonderful bike, highly recommend!
